Chapter I - "I wanna be a hero!"

No problem, we’re friends after all! *she smiled back* - Eloise

I was on a picnic with my best friend Eloise, she is the best person in the world! We both are fifthteen and we both want to be heroes! I was mostly going to private school in my life and it was kinda boring, they didn’t train me how to become a hero at all! That was a really long day btw. I went home after that.

Let me introduce myself first. My name is Astrid Toya Trawnley. In my world, everyone has a superpower. Honestly I'm tired of them. They always cause a lot of drama and chaos. Mostly because of villain organisations who are trying to take over the world. Fortunately, heroes or police always take them down with their cool powers! Wait, what was I saying? Oh right, I am trying to become a high ranked and respected hero! That's common asf i know, but I have my reasons, trust me. My family almost died in a fire, but my mom saved us all thanks to her power! I decided to follow her footsteps and also become a hero and save the ones that no one saved!

Honey, I'm home! - Mom/ Ravy came to the living room downstairs.
Hi mom! - Astrid ran downstairs
I’m back from my shift, is dad home already? - Mom/ Ravy hugged me tight
Nope, you’re first.- Astrid replied
I saved a bunch of people today. - Mom activated her talkative nature.
That’s great!- Astrid replied.

Mom, Navy Travnlley aka Water drop. She is one of the top heroes! She has her own merch and fanclubs, everyone says that i'm so lucky to have such a cool mom, but i feel like everyone forgets that she has her own non hero personality. She isn’t just some comic book character! Her power is water control, she can also create weapons from it. She has long black hair and red eyes (the eyes turn blue when she uses her power). She always walks elegantly, she has light skin and she mostly wears sweaters in dark colors. She always has the brightest and most calming smile on her face.

Ah, I'm extremely tired. I’m going to take a nap now.- Mom/Navy said heading to her bedroom.

Mom slept for most of the day, but my dad came home soon after. He sat on the sofa, watching his favourite horror movie.

I hate being a actor.- Dad/Victor said,he was really tired but he seemed happy.
You texted that you wanted to talk to me about something important. Is that right?- Astrid said, clearly confused at her dad’s behavior.
Sorry! I'm trying really hard for that new movie about conspiracy theories and- god i lost the subject again didn’t i?- Dad/ Victor said ,clearly he got his energy back.
WHAT DO YOU WANT DAD!?- Astrid said, she was definitely annoyed by her dad.

My dad, a tall man with naturally red hair but he painted it brown in the past years because it was more difficult to get a job as an actor for him. He has brown eyes and fangs. He has a confident but elegant posture. He is pretty muscular. He works as a professional, well paid actor. His power is fire-blood, he can turn blood into an aggressive strong fire. He rarely uses his power because of trauma. His power is really dangerous and he doesn’t really has control over it, that’s why he doesn’t use it.

Don’t you dare talk to me like that Astrid Toya Travnlley! Me and your mother signed you up for a hero teen camp! Isn’t that cool? You will train in a secret hidden forest with other wannabe heroes! But you won’t be able to use your phone there, plus i signed you up for half of the whole year!
