My name is one that I have cast away a long time ago. Nowadays I safeguard a name that was given to me by my long dead superiors. I remember the days when I still had my old name and how ungrateful I was. I remember my family whom I shed tears for upon remembering. I was a disgraceful brat as a child but of course, I knew not of my bad ways. I hated my parents, my sister and my family as a whole. I remember I kept repeating to myself that they were annoying, that they were stupid and that they didn't understand me. I regret all these actions to this day. I went to a prestigious school and lived a comfortable and spoiled life filled with riches. Unfortunately this wasn't enough for my selfish wants and needs.
I was a young lad of 8 with black hair that curled at the tips of my ears and coal dark eyes when I first met Peter Pan. One moment he wasn't there and the next he was in front of me with a smile on his face and a pan flute in his hand. At the time I recall being mesmerized and fascinated by his attire. A green outfit that almost seemed to be made out of the green leaves of spring and green boots that seemed to fit him perfectly. He introduced himself to me and played a tune on his pan flute. The music that flowed from that pan flute was beautiful and it amazes me how such an evil wretch can create such awe-inspiring music. We talked the whole night through and he promised me that he would come again and he did, the next night. This time when he came I noticed a levitating ball of yellow light floating next to his shoulder. I stepped closer and upon close inspection I realized that I was staring at a beautiful fairy. A beautiful fairy with a sad face. I introduced myself to the gorgeous creature and she in turn told me her name, Tinkerbell. Tinkerbell is an amazing name don't you think? It is one that reminds you of delicate music and fireflies painting the night sky yellow.
Over the years I began to hate my family more as they kept scolding, nagging and forcing me into things I refused to do. Eventually these frustrations I converted into words and recounted them to Peter Pan at the age of 10 as Peter Pan listened intently and didn't interrupt at all. Once I had vented he asked me a simple question, are you happy here? Of course being a child I didn't have the capacity to look at the bigger picture and see that my parents loved me so I replied with no. He then asked me another question. My answer to this question managed to change my whole life and plunge myself into a dark abyss with no means of escape. The question was, would you like to go to a place where there are no parents? Where we can be free? A place where you can never get old and you can live happily? What Peter Pan was telling me was like a dream come true. A dream that I wanted with all my heart. So I took his outstretched hand and flew off to a magical paradise called Neverland.
