Jax open the door having had a key to his room (alongside a key to everyone else) and open the door with Ragatha and the new girl Pomni waiting for the door to be open. Inside was a mess of crazed rambling on the walls, crazed messages on the bed, and a lot of self portraits of Kaufmo that look like they came from a mental hospital. And for a moment Ragatha was worried that with all these crazed imagery in his room that Kaufmo may have abstracted! However as she looked closer she saw everyone favorite jokester crying to himself in the corner all alone and small repeating to himself "What did the exit say to the clown?" Over and over and over all while he cried a fountain of tears like he was repeating set up without a punchline. "Kaufmo?..... Are you alright buddy?" Ragatha said getting closer to where Kaufmo was crying reaching out to him. Suddenly when she got close Kaufmo slap away his hand and gave an angry look. "DONT TOUCH ME!!! GET OUT OF MY ROOM!!! YOU ALL HATE ME AND MY JOKES!!! THINK IM INSANE AND UNFUNNY?! WELL I WAS BRILLIANT AND I AM FUNNY SO JUST LEAVE ME ALONE!!!" Kaufmo yelled as he began to grab the little party hat he was wearing revealing that he actually had a full blown blue clown afro under there and he began pulling clown props out of his hats to throw at Ragatha like balloons, pies, unicycles, juggling pins, torches for fire breathing acts, notes filled with jokes, and several painting supplies. "Kaufmo! We just want to help! And I'm sorry for not laughing at your jokes! They really were funny I was just having kind of a bad day!" Ragatha yelled Kaufmo through more and more stuff at her till he gave up and put back on his little party cone hat which ended up sucking up his entire blue clown afro making his look bald. "....... Why do I even go on? Maybe I should give up!? What did the Exit say to the Clown? It told him nothing! Because there is no exit!!!" Kaufmo yelled as his body began to glitch and morph with Ragatha and Jax backing away in fear knowing Kaufmo could abstract at that very moment. Pomni meanwhile who was just confused and scared hiding behind Jax finally made herself known to Kaufmo. "WAIT!!! I saw the exit and it is real! And I need to ask you about it!" Pomni yelled at full force. Suddenly Kaufmo body began to stabilize and become normal again as he stared at Pomni. "...... You saw the Exit?" Kaufmo said with a disbelief in his voice but hope I'm his eyes. "Well yea I did! And you also saw it if what that Kinger guy said was right. So could you maybe tell me about it?" Pomni said. Kaufmo got up and slowly looked at Pomni moving circles around her to analyze her. "....... What's 0 divided by 240? Kaufmo said which confused Pomni. "Ehh? Uhhhh? 69?" Pomni said. Kaufmo suddenly gave a wide smile and grab Pomni by the face and lifted her up and span her around with joy all while laughing. "HA! Your not an ai! Caine and Bubble usually crash or lag when I ask that question! And better yet you saw the exit! Another human has seen what I have seen! In your face Jax! I'm not insane you little sh-" Kaufmo said before being interrupted. "PLEASE STOP SPINNING!" Pomni yelled. Kaufmo dropped her on the floor and took a bow. "I'm sorry about that, just got all excited! I'm the great Kaufmo! Everyone's favorite jokster! And also a brilliant man at heart but..... This circus has driven me a bit nuts! Hahaha...... Oh God help us all" Kaufmo said. "I'm...... Pomni" Pomni said a bit dizzy getting up on her feet. "So Kaufy? I see you did a little decorating? Gotta say your making Kinger look sane in comparison" Jax said looking at one of Kaufmo self drawn portraits. "At least you got a new hobby besides jokes! That's a good thing! Though maybe don't lock yourself in your room for long periods of time Kaufmo" Ragatha said looking at a drawing of Kaufmo running away from a demonic Caine. "Shut the &$?! up! And get out of my room Ragatha! I will not take another second of you fake laughing at my jokes! GET OUT! And you too Jax!" Kaufmo said. "Sure thing Kaufy" Jax said suddenly kicking Kaufmo sending him flying and bouncing all over his room like a rag doll in Gmod. Ragatha and Pomni looked shock as Kaufmo fell limp on the floor. "By the way I'm taking my bowling ball back! Cmon Doll Face let's check on the others, let Pomni talk with a worst version of herself for a bit, maybe they'll form a club! The unfunny clowns looking for exits!" Jax said leaving the room. Ragatha wanted to stay but knowing how Kaufmo felt about her she decided to leave. Pomni was left alone with a dizzy Kaufmo who got up. "I swear one day Im gonna throw so many pies at that rabbit that he will choke and die! Hehe, maybe then we could make some rabbit pie? Hahaha! Why I guess he kinda deserves it for being a Jax A$! Hahahaha!" Kaufmo said. Despite everything that had happen Pomni couldn't really help but to chuckle a little at the joke, it was dumb but she honestly loved dumb jokes like those. This actually caught Kaufmo off guard as it been months maybe years since anyone found his jokes funny anymore. So to see someone chuckle at them made him feel confused and suspicious. "..... Alright I'm willing to bet that miss "everything is fine" told you to fake laugh at my jokes so I don't feel bad? Well I may be a clown but I'm not a fool! I know you don't actually think I'm funny! Your just like everyone! THEY ALL HATE ME!!!" Kaufmo yelled glitching a bit. "What!? No I actually thought it was funny, and I only just met you and you seem decent enough? For this place standards I guess?" Pomni said. Kaufmo face went a bit shock and then turned into a genuine smile with eyes filled with happiness. "You actually think my jokes are funny?" Kaufmo said with so much shyness and so much hope and worry. "I uhh? Yea I guess, only heard one though" Pomni said. "OHHHHH!!! SOMEONE ACTUALLY FINDS ME FUNNY!!! OH! I should tell you my other jokes!" Kaufmo said going into his hat and pulling a long and I mean long like really long list of jokes that looked like a long recite that you get at a pharmacy but over exaggerated to the maximum. "Hold on! Before that can we talk about the exit?" Pomni said. Kaufmo stopped and put away his long list of jokes back into his hat. "The exit......." Kaufmo said. He then took off his hat once more and pull out from the small hat a very large evidence board that was overloaded. "Listen very closely! For the pass 28 years, I think it was 28 years me and a two others have been trapped! With many joining within those years such as Jax, Ganggle, and Zooble. I have been here the third longest only beaten by Kinger who was the first and...... Let's not talk about her...... Both me and Kinger agreed to bury that from our minds, but either way during those many years we have seen many people reach there breaking point or have almost lost it or given up hope of an escape and just accept this as there life! But not me! I know there is an exit! I've seen it thousands of times and I can hear it speak to me, whispers of sorts trying to tell me secrets, memories that I've forgotten, and at the end I always wonder, what did the Exit say to the clown? Cause though I swear I can hear that door speak to me I for the life of me can't make out what it's saying...... But one way I will get out if it's the last thing I do" Kaufmo said in a very serious voice like a moment of clarity was coming to him even if what he was saying was still crazy. Kaufmo noticed how worried Pomni looked. "Sorry about that, just old Kaufmo rambling on and on like always! But God dang it I'm not dying as some clown in some circus! I'm a doctor !?$&!&" Kaufmo said. Pomni got curious. "Your a doctor?" Pomni said said. "Oh! Well yea I was..... Or I think I was, I've been here so long I can barely remember anything anymore. I mean Im not Kinger levels of forgetting everything, but the most I remember is that I was once a brilliant and respected man..... Now I'm a dumb clown telling dumb jokes...... This circus has broken us all so much" Kaufmo said. "Umm? Just how broken exactly?" Pomni said. Kaufmo just looked worried as he looked at all the evidence he had. "...... Jax used to be a pushover when he first came in, nothing but a scared kid, the years have turned him into a jerk who pushed others for fun. Ganggle was used to be confident and even showed off quite a bit like a proud theater kid, now she can barley hold herself together without her comedy mask. Zooble use to care about everyone and everything and cared too much to the point they never had time for themselves, now they can't even bother to care and doesn't even know who they are. Kinger used to be a smart but bitter man who acted like a tyrant always demanding things go his way but without any power besides his qu...... Let's just say after years and the loss of someone to us both, he sorta became nothing more than a coward who can barley even function with any sign of an ego been broken down to nothing. And Ragatha...... That little ?&$?! Used to be obsessed with finding the exit and she always pointed out how horrible things were, but now she acts like everything is fine and that being trapped forever in this place is a something we shouldn't worry about. And as for me I used to be very serious, but I've grown to enjoy humor and jokes, sometimes you just need a laugh in life. But either way we have to find that darn exit!" Kaufmo yelled slamming his fist on the board of evidence. Pomni just stayed there silent as she heard a light sigh coming from Kaufmo. "So where do we go to find this exit?" Pomni said. "...... The door appears at random so it could be anywhere, if you see it don't hesitate to jump in even if I don't go in with you, cause if one day you just suddenly disappeared from the circus all together it means you escape and that will probably keep me going" Kaufmo said. Pomni just stood silent not sure what to do next. "So do we go looking? Pomni said. "........ I need to rest a bit honestly, haven't had a break of sorts for at least....... 10 years? Maybe a few weeks? Or maybe just a day! I don't really remember that well, it's like my sense of time is all messed up! But anyways? What to hear a joke?" Kaufmo said. Pomni just nodded still worried about her whole situation. "Okay so one time me and my good friend Zooble and Ganggle were working together on one of Caine's adventures. During said adventure we were at lake fighting off some digital pirates and during the adventure they managed to use Ganggle body to tie me and Zooble up to throw us off the plank! And I guess you can say me and Zooble were enganngled! Hahaha!" Kaufmo said with pride in that joke. Pomni couldn't help but to laugh at that joke. Kaufmo felt a sense of joy he hadn't felt in a long time when he saw Pomni going from anxious and worried to laughing because she found his jokes funny. Kaufmo felt before like he was gonna abstract but having met Pomni he thinks he will try to hold on longer to cheer her up with some jokes and maybe find the exit.
