Y/N's POV

"Why did you kiss me?" I asked.

"Y/N.." she simply said, grabbing both of my hands.

Avoiding her gaze, I added, "This is wrong, unnie."

"If it's wrong, then why did you kiss me back?" she asked, which caught me off guard.

It took a moment for me to respond. I turned my gaze back to her, focusing on her lips. "Because it's hard not to when those kissable lips of yours are so captivating and inviting."

'Now, when did you get this bold, Lee Y/N?' I mentally asked myself. 'But it's also because I'm deeply in love with you,Huh!' If only I were brave enough to confess my feelings to her right here, right now!

Yunjin's eyes sparkled mischievously, a playful glint dancing in them. "Well, who would've thought my 'simple gesture' could hold such promise," she teased, a hint of a smirk playing on her lips.

Her response caught me off guard, and I couldn't help but chuckle nervously. Yunjin had a way of turning even the most serious moments into something lighter, something that made my heart flutter.

"Y/N, you have a way with words, you know that?" she continued, her tone a mix of admiration and a subtle undercurrent of something more. "You make a 'simple gesture' sound like the beginning of an epic adventure."

I blushed, grateful for the dim lighting that masked my embarrassment. Yunjin's flirty banter was both exhilarating and intimidating. It was a side of her I hadn't seen before, and it added a whole new layer of complexity to our already complicated dynamic.

And then, as if the universe itself conspired to reveal our true feelings, Yunjin's playful facade melted away. Her eyes softened, and she took a deep breath, the vulnerability in her expression laying bare her heart.

"Y/N, I need to be honest with you," she began, her voice gentle yet filled with a quiet intensity. "Being around you, it's been more than just friendship. It's been... something deeper, something I didn't expect."

Her confession hung in the air, a testament to the courage it took for her to reveal her true feelings. My heart swelled with a mixture of surprise, gratitude, and a dawning sense of hope.

"Yunjin..." I whispered, "I never imagined... I mean, I never thought..."

She gently placed a finger against my lips, silencing me. "I understand if this changes things for you, Y/N. I would never want to put you in an uncomfortable positio-"

Before she could finish her words, I closed the distance between us, pressing my lips gently against hers. It was a tender, wordless reassurance of the feelings that surged within me.

Time seemed to stand still as we shared this unspoken moment, our hearts beating in sync. It was a kiss filled with understanding, a promise of something deeper yet to come.

As we pulled away, our eyes met, both filled with a mixture of surprise and a newfound sense of connection. There was an unspoken agreement that this revelation would change things, but in a way that held the potential for something beautiful.

Yunjin's gaze held a softness that warmed my heart. "Y/N, I... I didn't expect this," she admitted, her voice tinged with both vulnerability and a quiet kind of joy.

"Well, let's just make it simple. I'm in love with you and your lips are looking extra sexy so can I resist that? Nope." I mindlessly responded.

'Oh, I did it. I confessed my feelings. You should be proud of me, my dear readers.'

Yunjin blinked, clearly taken aback by my directness. A faint blush tinted her cheeks, and for a moment, there was a mix of surprise and something else in her gaze.

"Come again, I couldn't hear the first part earlier."

"I'm not a news anchor to give you a replay!" I said humorously which earn a chuckle from her.

She playfully pinched my cheeks and exclaimed, "Come on, give me a replay!"

Instead of feeling the pain from the pinched cheeks, I decided to tease her more by singing the song 'Replay' by SHINee.
[A.N.: Please correct me if my spellings are wrong and I'd like to apologize on behalf of that. ]

"Gaseumi malhaejunda nuga mworaedo~"
I sang the lyrics while staring into her eyes.

"Nunan neomu yeppeo~"
Her smile grew wider as I sang the chorus.

"michyeo~"

"Replay, replay, replay ~"
This time she decided to sing along with me, and I couldn't help but notice her gleaming eyes.

"Please, pretty please with cherry on top!" she lightly jumped up and down, begging me to rewind back what I was saying earlier.

"Alright, alright, but only because you added the cherry on top! Now, let's rewind. Ah, yes," I gently cupped her cheeks, playfully squishing them. "Here comes the grand finale: I am so head over heels for you, Huh Yunjin." I finally confessed my feelings to her, though it may have seemed a bit rushed, it was worth it.

"Y/N, you have a way with words," she said, her voice warm and genuine. "And you've got me beat here, because I confessed my feelings earlier. I've been falling for you, Y/N." Her eyes sparkled with sincerity and a touch of playfulness, sealing their shared sentiment with a smile.

Yunjin's admission filled the air with a delightful tension, and I couldn't help but meet her gaze with a grin. "Well, Yunjin, you certainly have a way of stealing hearts. I must admit, I've been completely smitten by you."

Her laughter danced like a melody in the room. "Smitten, huh? I think I like the sound of that."

"Believe me, it's an understatement," I teased, unable to resist the playful banter.

Yunjin's eyes twinkled mischievously. "Well then, what's the right word?"

I leaned in a bit closer, our fingers gently intertwined. "Irresistible, perhaps?"

Her cheeks warmed, but she didn't break eye contact. "Bold choice of words, Y/N."

I chuckled, "Boldness seems to be the theme of the night."

As the conversation flowed, it was like a dance of words and glances, each step drawing us closer. The night held a promise of something new, something beautiful, and I couldn't wait to see where it would lead.
