"Babe, stop studying. You're going to explode!" Samantha tells me as she twirls my hair in her fingers. "B-But I need to pass!" I stutter, intently staring at all the facts in front of me. "You're going to pass babe. It's true." She reassures and I smile, giving her a kiss. Out the corner of my eye, I swear I could see Skyler sighing before swivelling round so she's facing somewhere else and not us.

That must've done something to my mind because, for whatever reason, in my mind I keep thinking that it was Skyler kissing me instead of Sam. Is that normal?

Then I had thoughts that Sky was prettier than Sam but that's not true. Now at least. Before she was an angel in disguise. Perfect. At this moment, Sam is my adorable girlfriend. Plus, Skyler has Calum and the two look adorable together!

But to be honest, I just gave up trying to win Skyler over. She's happy with Calum and that's all. Samantha is amazing and a great girlfriend. Honestly! It's just that she helps to keep Skyler out of my mind and the fact that I will never be able to win her over. The way they look at each other is like true love.

Now I really can't get her can I.

I tried to push these thoughts away as I continue to cuddle with Sam but it wasn't working. As I twirl Sam's jet black hair, I keep imagining it to be Skyler's soft, wavy brown hair. It was as if the two were shifting between each other before my eyes.

No, Ashton Fletcher Irwin. Sam is your girlfriend and you should not have these thoughts right now man. She can stay your if you just play it safe.

Then I look at Sky, who was currently sitting in front of me. My eyes started to melt at the sight of her and I swear I'm going to throw up butterflies. I wanted to reach out to caress her shiny hair that would feel as soft as it looks.

Samantha is sitting right beside you man. You should not have these thoughts right now. I dared myself to glance at Sky again and everything around me didn't seem to matter. I totally forgot that we were even in school.

I take one last glance at Samantha again who was sitting in the desk next to me. At the sight of her, guilt started to eat my insides out.
