Author's Note: Incase you didn't read the description, this fic is for WLW. Anyone can read it, but the reader is specified to be plus-sized and sapphic. If you'd like a song to listen to during this chapter, I'd recommend something calm and slow, like an OST! (P.S. there's no Y/N necessary for this fic <3)

The Cadette was recently ordered by the universe's Emperor, Sigma, to land the ship on the closest planet for some rest. "You've been piloting the ship for more than 24 hours without sleep, it would be the safest for us to land so we don't crash the ship. Go on, take a break," Sigma told her over a holoscreen call. She hung up the phone with a yawn, putting ship into a faster gear so they could get to their destination quicker. When the ship was landed, the Cadette unbuckled herself from the seat, stretching some of the straints out.

When she left the pilot section of the ship, she walked with the last ounces of energy she had left in her system to get to her bed. The Cadette kicked her shoes off, falling onto the soft mattress that welcomed her like a warm hug. The second she hit the mattress, she was out like a light. She adjusted to her usual sleeping position to ensure the deepest, most calming and amazing sleep she's had in a long time.

It wasn't until the next day that the Cadette woke up. Her small omnic assistant, which sent comms between her and the Emperor, played a prerecorded voice message. "Good morning, Cadette. I presume, and hope, that you've slept well. I won't be available today as I have some meetings to attend across the ship. If you need anything I advise that you visit my assistant, the Seer. She'll be in her usual position most likely." The voice message ended with a beep.

The Cadette stretched for a few minutes before becoming fully aware. She headed for her bathroom to get ready. She realized she was still in her uniform, so she quickly changed out of it into something more comfortable, but still presentable. "Oh god, that felt nice to get out," she groaned, throwing her uniform into her laundry basket. She quickly set a reminder on her holoscreen tablet to remind her to do her laundry. It wasn't a large load, but she definitely needed to wash it if she wanted to wear something fresh.

The Cadette wanted to make herself look half-decent, so she washed her face carefully with cold water. Thankfully, that got rid of her eye bags. She smiled at herself in the mirror and sighed. She patted her face dry with a towel, making sure none of the water dripped onto her shirt.

As soon as she finished washing her face, the Cadette realized she had nothing to do. Considering that the Emperor was busy for the day, she made a tiny plan; she would act all curious, looking for Sigma in hopes that the Seer would come to her aid. It would be like a night in shining armor situation... Somewhat, at least.
