No.
This can't be it. I'm sure i heard wrong.
So ask him to repeat what he said. He sighs and says "i said, we're moving out of the city Siya. My job has been transferred to Shingsar Ghats. And yes you are coming along with me. We are moving out. I can't leave my only daughter here all on her own" how did he know i was planning to ask that I'd never know. But still I'm so shocked i can't comprehend the fact that we're leaving the place where i grew up and spent all my life.
That means..."but what about my school? This home? Minnie?and my friends and you're friends? and...." he cut me by saying "we'll visit our friends here whenever we want. And we'll take minnie with us offcourse. And about your school...siya, beta you have to change schools" He finishes as he gets up to place his and mine plates in the dishes and continues his kitchen work.
I'm still baffled by the fact that we have to leave this place and this home in one week because dad had received a letter that he has to start his work in a week in the new city of Shingsar Ghats.
And no matter how many times i ask him if he can do something to change this and offer someone else in his place to which he laughed and said it doesn't work that way it's an order from higher governmental professionals and he has to cooperate as he is a government servant; a police officer.
...
I look around my room to see what i have and what should pack to this new city in the middle of summer vacation, thank god school starts next month so i can have time settling in the new city before i jump straight into school-about which i asked dad on which school I'll be attending to for my last two years of highschool- he said a school name something along the lines...new river high or whatever if it has all kinds of subejcts and not just restricted to few then I'm fine.
I sigh and pick up minnie my cutest cat companion with me to drift away in my dreamland and wish to never to come back.
