Chapter #27 Louri’s POV I don’t know why I just felt the need to be extra goofy this morning. I had fun with the girls and I put on a whole performance during Let it Go. Scarlett recorded it all naturally. Devon would repeat Olaf’s lines. It was cute he even went around going ‘Look at the I’ve been impaled.’. “Scarlett, do you know where my laptop is?” I ask. “Yes.” She says. “Did you at least let my superiors know you were hiding it this time?” I ask knowing my wife. “Yes I did, don't worry. You won’t get in trouble.” She says. “Don’t tell my superiors this but I’m kinda happy you hide my laptop every time I get home from deployment.” I tell her. “I know.” She says. “Am I that readable?” I ask. “To me, yes.” She smiles. “Want to help me work on your desk?” I ask. “Ooo yes.” She says. “Alright let’s go.” I say taking her hand we don’t have to worry about the kids because they are with Ma and Melanie. Scarlett’s POV “Baby have you been in here while I was gone?” Louri asks. I knew I should have taken pictures of how she left it. “Would you be mad if I said yes?” I ask. “Not one bit.” She says. “Ok good because I was in here every morning.” I tell her. “Why every morning?” She asks. “I missed you.” I say honestly. “I missed you too. You didn’t. Drink my coffee did you?” She asks. “No, that is way too strong for me.” I tell her, making her chuckle. “Shall we get to work?” She asks, sitting on the stool in front of the work bench with the front panel of my new desk is. “Yes we shall.” I say. “Ok well since you’ll be in front you wear this.” She says handing me her leather apron. “How do I look?” I ask. “Like a true carpenter.” She smiles. “Let me get the tools we are going to need and then we can get started.” She says. We end up making quite a bit of progress in only a couple of hours. Now I know why she keeps a clock on the wall by the work bench. She has her hands over mine just guiding the tool in the right direction. Her hands are a little rough compared to mine. We talk about random shit and baby names. We settled on Thomas Rush if it’s a boy and Louri Dollese the II if it’s a girl because if you can name a boy after their dad why not name a girl after their mom. We are going to find out tomorrow what the gender is. “Do you want a boy or a girl?” I ask. “I’m kinda hoping for a boy but if it’s a girl I will still love them the same.” Louri says. “I kinda want a boy too just to even it out a little and since Devon keeps referring to them as his little brother.” I chuckle. “He does that.” She laughs. “Whoa how’d he get out?” I say pointing to the cat that just walked through the door of the workshop. “You had me install a kitty door since he would scream to get out everytime I came into the workshop.” Louri reminds me. “Oh yeah I forgot.” I say. Louri’s POV I had a great day yesterday with the kids in the morning and Scarlett in the afternoon. I wake up to a very giddy Scarlett. “Good morning Baby.” I'm still a little tired. “Get up! Get up! We are gonna find out the gender today and I need food.” She says practically dragging me out of bed making me laugh. “Ok jump on Koala.” I say holding my arms out and she leaps into my arms. “Mmmh I missed this.” She says. “Baby you have said that everyday for the past three days.” I say and I missed it too. “What’s your point?” She asks. “I don’t know I missed it too.” I tell her. “Wait.” She says before I can carry her downstairs. “What?” I ask. “You need to put a fresh bandage on.” She says pointing to my leg. “Wow, being married to a medic has really rubbed off on you. And thank you for reminding me.” I say. “Here let me. Sit down and relax.” She says hoping down and grabs what she needs from my bag. “Remove your pants please.” She says and I take off my sweats and watching her change the bandage is almost like watching a medic in training work. “Ok all done. If we had the house to ourselves I would tell you to not wear your sweats but we don’t so unfortunately you have to put them back on.” She pouts as I put my sweats on. “Ok hop up Koala.” I tell her and she does and we walk downstairs. I see Shanna and Bri in the kitchen sipping on some coffee. “Hey Squish, welcome home.” Shanna says. “Thanks Shanny.” I say putting Scarlett down. Scarlett pours herself a cup of coffee and I hold her from behind well. I grab her ass as I rest my head on her shoulder and say. “Du har en fantastisk røv.(You have a great ass)” not knowing Bri took a picture till the group chat starts blowing up my phone. “What is with RDJ and parties?” Shanna asks. “He likes to celebrate.” I shrug. “We’ve got to get ready for my appointment in an hour.” Scarlett says. “Lead the way.” I say before taking my last sip of coffee.
