It was 6:00 in the morning. Rod was reading his favorite book, Broadway musicals of the 1940s, when he got a text from his friend Kate monster.
Birthday Kate🎂 : Hey Rod, me and Princeton want to know if you and Nicky want to go to Chick-fil-a with us today.
*sips tea*☕️: Sure. What time?
Birthday Kate🎂 : 1:00. Are ya available then?
*sips tea* ☕️ : We should be. See you then.
Birthday Kate🎂 : Kay, byyyyyyyye bestie!

Rod gets out of bed and walks over to Nicky's bed to wake him up.
Rod: *shakes* Nicky.
Nicky: *Snores*
Rod: *shakes a bit harder* Nicky.
Nicky: *snores louder*
Rod: NICKY!
Nicky: What? Huh? Oh. Hi Rod. What's up?
Rod: Kate just texted and asked if we wanted to go to Chick-fil-a.
Nicky: Chick-fil-a!? Hell yeah I wanna go to Chick-fil-A!
Rod: *Rolls eyes and giggles* Okay good.
Nicky: What time is it?
Rod: *Checks his phone* 6:30.
Nicky: I guess I should get up then. *stands up and stretches*
Rod: *Stomach grumbles*
Nicky: *Laughs loudly*
Rod: Shut up Nicky! I can't control my stomach grumbling!
Nicky: Sorry. It was just so sudden! I couldn't help it!
Rod: Whatever Nicky.
Nicky: Should we get ready?
Rod: Yeah probably. You know how Kate can be sometimes when people are late.
Nicky: Oh yeah. Remember that time with the Wendy's plastic bag?
Rod: Don't remind me.
* The 2 men got ready to go with their friends to Jesus's favorite fast food place. While Rod was getting his coffee, Nicky decided to scare him because it's Nicky, what do you expect?*
Nicky: *Makes loud noise unknown to human*
Rod: AH! NICKY!
Nicky: *Laughs mischievously*
Rod: YOU ALMOST MADE ME DROP MY COFFEE YOU ASSHOLE!
Nicky: *Laughs louder* Sorry. You're just so easy to scare!
Rod: It's not funny!
Nicky: Yes. Yes it is.
Rod: I fucking hate you.
Nicky: Aw c'mon Rod. No you don't.
Rod: Yes I do. *Acts mad and turns away from Nicky*
Nicky: Aw c'mon buddy. You're not really mad at me are you?
Rod: Hmph.
Nicky: Aw. You're so cute when you're mad.
Rod: *blushes* S-SHUT UP NICKY!
Nicky: Whatever cutie. *Teasingly*
Rod: Do NOT call me that.
Nicky: Okay, okay. Geez so aggressive.
Rod: Whatever. Let's just go.
