A/N.............................................
I decided to only make the story one part, so if you've already started reading, I recommend starting over, but if you don't want to, start on the second paragraph. And if you haven't started reading then ignore this.
P.S. sorry it's so short.
...................................................
Once upon a time..... there was a poor girl named, Annabeth. She was very humble and nice to everyone, but not everyone was nice to her. There is another girl important to this story, that lives in this small village. Her name was Lucinda, she was a princess but, she didn't have the best people skillsy. She was mean to anybody who isn't as high on the social pyramid as her. Everybody loved her, except for Annabeth who, though she wouldn't admit it, was a little jealous.

So, one day after Annabeth washed up for bed, she saw a shooting star, and then, POOF! Her Fairy God Mother appeared. The Fairy God Mother said, "Make a wish, but don't tell anyone, or it won't come true."

Her first thought was, 'I wish I could switch lives with Lucinda'.

Annabeth got woken up very early the next morning, even though it was a Saturday, and she always sleeps in on Saturdays. When she looked up at who woke her up at 4:00 in the morning, she was surprised to see that it wasn't her mother, it was Lucinda's maid!
She then said, "Madam Lucinda, are you ready for your Princess Training class?"

Annabeth then said, "Excuse me ma'am, but my name is not Lucinda, it's Annabeth."

"Yes, and I'm Queen of the kingdom!" the maid laughed.

Meanwhile..................................

The real Lucinda, didn't have the best morning either. She woke up at 12:00 in the afternoon, saying, "Oh my goodness, oh my goodness," thinking that she had princess duties to take care of.

Annabeth's mother then came in worried, asking, "What's wrong Annabeth?"

"Who are you, you old woman? And my name is Lucinda, not Annabeth!" Lucinda yelled. After she said that, she was smacked in the mouth!

"Excuse me miss, if I were you, I would start working on my chores!" Annabeth's mother screamed.

"First of all, who are you bossing me around, and second of all, what are these chores you speak of?"

"First of all, I'm your mother, and second of all, chores are the work that you do around the house every single day."

"I'm a princess, I do not do house work!" Lucinda shouted.

At the castle................................

Annabeth had trouble sitting up straight and using the right silverware. Lucinda's maid asked, "Why are you having trouble with your lessons today?"

"I've never had princess lessons before," Annabeth replied.

"Don't be ridiculous," the maid said, "you have princess training every Saturday."

Monday......................................

School wasn't going very well for Lucinda. As soon as she walked in the door, everyone laughed at her, because she came from a poor family.

Annabeth, for once, had an exelent day at school. Annabeth said hello to Lucinda in the hallway. Lucinda got upset and shouted, "Why are you talking to me, peasant?"

"I'm not a peasant anymore, I'm a princess!" Annabeth replied.

After school...............................

When Lucinda arrived home to Annabeth's house, she wished and wished for her old life back. POOF! Annabeth's fairy godmother appeared and said, "You must first get the original Annabeth to wish to switch back. You have one week until the wish becomes permanent." POOF! The fairy godmother disappeared.

Tuesday.....................................

At school, Lucinda was searching for Annabeth, but wasn't able to see her because there were so many other students surrounding Annabeth. Finally, at lunch Lucinda found Annabeth and said, "We have to switch back!"

Annabeth then said, "I'm never switching back."

Friday........................................

The week was almost over. Annabeth hated her princess duties and the people that are always surrounding her. To get away from everything, she went and hid in the bathroom during lunch. Lucinda was in the bathroom too, but it was because she couldn't stand being made fun of.

When Annabeth and Lucinda both went to their separate homes, they both wished for their lives to return back to normal.

Saturday...................................

Both Annabeth and Lucinda woke up in their original homes. They became best friends who understand each other, even though their lives are completely different.
