Author's note: So, I finally mustered the courage to write a reader x person story. I'm not sure how many chapters this book shall be, but I plan to expand it for as long as my abilities allow. This is mainly an outlet for my current condition known as severe author's block. I hope along the way you can enjoy it! Thanks for reading!

Background: Code name Twilight. Alias Loid Forger, aka WISE's finest and most dependable agent. While on a mission to secure Westalis aristocrat (Minamoto Diasuke), agent Twilight comes face to face with Garden's golden girl (y/n). Her newest assignment: kill Mr. Minamoto by any means necessary.

The night was going exactly to plan.

Shadows bathed the alleyway in broad black strokes, making it exceptionally easier for you to slink between them with skillfull ease. A full moon shone brightly above, its natural glow aiding your vision and illuminating the few crevices where the silhouettes couldn't quite reach.

Taking advantage of the perfect opportunity, you pressed your back further into the side of the client's building, ensuring to erase your breath as you inched below Westalian aristocrat Minamoto's bedroom window.

The mission was simple. Assassinate Minamoto Diasuke efficiently and swiftly.

Recently, the aristocrat had been put on Ostonia's radar after an intelligence agent discovered that he planned to conspire against the eastern country by utilizing his wealth to seize control of a section of Ostonia's poorer districts on the west side. The mere thought disgusted you, and you were happy to eliminate a man who robbed the poor while sipping contently on expensive wine.

Reaching quietly above your head, your fingers brushed the cold metal of a broken drainage pipe, undoubtedly tampered with by another member of Garden. That made your life easier.

With delicate hands, you lifted your feet above the ground and up to the pipe in one smooth motion, following the inertia of your own strength and landing on top of the pipe. The extra height aligned your eyes with the ledge of the window sill. From your vantage point, you could see your target lazily spread across his king-sized bed. A prime time to erase the greedy man's existence.

Just as you were about to reach for your blade, the sound of a door creaking open startled you from following through with the kill.

A man wearing what appeared to be a bodyguard's uniform stepped into the aristocrat's bedroom. However, the true shock came as you watched him slowly peel off his own skin, detaching it and discarding it into the trash with gloved hands. Where the mysterious guy's mustache and chiseled jaw used to be were replaced by smooth skin and extremely attractive features.

You watched from the window as the mystery man stalked across the room, going straight for the desk before casually rummaging through Minamoto's belongings. Unsure of how else to proceed with your mission without gaining his attention, you silently waited for a possible new opening.

Thankfully, it didn't take long for him to smirk in triumph as he pulled a document from the desk. Curiosity gnawed away at you as he flipped through its pages.

Suddenly, a loud crash echoed from below you, efficiently blowing your cover.

That's when his gaze locked onto you. It felt as if his electric blue eyes pierced right through yours, a warm feeling settled into your stomach as your cheeks flushed pink. He was so much more handsome than you realized.
