The new week begins in a familiar routine for Riki. He wakes up a couple of hours before class in a great mood. The weekend had been eventful and he was able to get a good rest before the start of his studies. After doing all his morning chores and having breakfast he hurries to the university. His best friend has written that he is on his way, but Riki doubts whether he will be there on time. Unfortunately, the older man is not very diligent and rarely attends classes. He's more into hanging out, parties and clubs. The younger one does most of the joint projects and assignments for him, receiving hugs and words of appreciation in gratitude, and at times, goodies in the form of fish bread.
Unlike his friend, Riki is a diligent student. When Jungwon would occasionally bail on his studies, the younger one had to help him close his debts every time. It's not that he complains, but he could certainly use a little counseling, but whenever it came to that, the older man would magically change the subject and distract him.
Riki often scolds him and asks him to get smart, because his parents pay money for his education, and he squanders it, but he doesn't want to hear anything. It's his parents' money and I didn't want to study, and then he shrugged and said that he would figure it all out by himself. At times he has the nerve to say that he doesn't have to try to do anything, because he has such a great friend as Riki.
Riki waits for Jungwon at the entrance of the university, nervously glancing at his wristwatch. He should be here by now, but he's still not here. He sighs heavily and is about to go inside when he hears a familiar voice behind him. Jungwon rans towards him in a crumpled outfit. RIki rolls his eyes at his friend appearance. It seems like he was partying last night or something like that.
"Hey, Riki-ah," Jungwon says with a charming smile on his face.
"Jungwon! We said we'd meet fifteen minutes before the classes start! What time is it now?" Riki is indignant, but the older man just rolls his eyes and moves towards the entrance.
"Hey! Yang Jungwon! Explain why you're late, you promised you'd be on time," Riki sulks.
"Ki, we're not late, right?" he asks, to which Riki nods. "That's fine, relax, baby".
Riki only sighs at that and takes off his outerwear before depositing it in the closet.
"You're unbearable, you know?" he sighs, but Jungwon just laughs merrily and takes him under his arm.
Together, they walk to the auditorium for their pairing, where the teacher gives them a project to do together. Lucky they're sitting next to each other and can do it together, though Riki isn't sure how much Jungwon will help him. His friend certainly doesn't have studying on his mind. After class, the older man offers to work at his house and they agree to meet at the main entrance before going their separate ways.
At the end of the school day, Jungwon waits for him at the university exit and they go to his house together, but before they do, they go to the store to get some snacks and drinks. On the way, they discuss the topic of the project and what would be best to do. The older man says he'll help with everything and they should get this assignment done as soon as possible. Riki snorts, realizing it's best not to argue and agrees to do the project in one day.

They work together on the project for a while, though Jungwon gets distracted often enough. Riki gets angry and resentful, but his friend just laughs and waves him off. A few hours pass like this and all they have to do is prepare the presentation.
"I think that's enough for today," Riki says, stretching a little in his chair. He's been sitting for quite a long time, so he could certainly use some stretching.
