A small unknown village in a forest. That's where this story takes place. But when is where it gets interesting. Our story is set the 1800s. Why? You'll see.

A boy is running through the streets of his village as people around him die from an untreatable virus. The boy is the only one not infected. This boy runs through the village looking for a place to hide. Hide from what? Not what.....who. Figures cloaked in black robes chase after the boy and inhuman speeds. The boy runs into an alley unable to escape.

The cloaked figures put a sword to the boy's throat. "Prepare to join the rest of your people young blood," The figure with the sword said. The other figures make a path behind the one with the sword. "Wait. I have gained an interest in him," A female voice said. An adult blonde woman (with large breasts. Just putting it out there) dressed in blacks, reds, and white walked through the path made by the other figures. "Yes Duchess," The figure holding the sword said stepping to the side. The woman walked up to the frightened boy. "Young blood. How would you wish to become something greater than yourself and your dying people?" The woman said. The boy was too scared to respond. "You need not answer. For I am not giving you the choice. But before we begin. I am Duchess Laveina. Ruler of the Vampiric Allegiance," The woman said. She bit the inside of her mouth and blood dripped out from the corner of her lips. The woman grabbed the boy by the collar of his shirt and forced her blood down the boy's throat.

Skip ahead 500 years and the Duchess Laveina is riding in a limo with what seems to be a teenager next to her with a hood hiding his face. "You know you will have to take that dastardly hood off when we get there. It's very unbecoming of the Duchess's prized possession to hide his face," Laveina said. The teen next to the Duchess growled. "It's not like I wanted to be the 'possession' of some bitch," The teen said. Laveina gripped the teen's throat tightly. "Don't forget young blood. I can kill you right here right now and no one will notice," The Duchess said. The teen growled and lowered his hood revealing the boy from the 1800s but not only a teen now but also a vampire. Laveina removed her hand from his throat and pet his head. "Good boy," The Duchess said.

The limo stopped and Laveina stepped out with her little pet. The teen scanned over the ruined city overrun with vampires of the Vampiric Allegiance enslaving humans as their blood giving livestock. "Come on. We're going to be late," Laveina said. The teen followed Laveina reluctantly. The two entered one of the rare buildings that were still standing in the ruined city.

Laveina and the teen went to the building's basement and saw a vampire scientist. "Greeting Duchess. Welcome back to the lab," The scientist said. Laveina smiled. "Thank you. What's the progress on the project?" The Duchess said. "It's almost complete. We just need a subject to send back in time," The scientist said. The teen then got an idea. "I'll do it," He said. The two older vampires looked at him. "No. I will not allow it," Laveina said. The teen groaned. "Come on. I'm not just gonna sit by your heels forever. I wanna do something with this eternal life you gave me," He said. Laveina glared at him. "It's not actually a bad idea Duchess. Besides we control how far back he goes. We set it for 300 years ago. In the 21st century. What damage could he do to the timeline there?" The scientist said. Laveina sighed. "Fine. But when he's through you bring him right back. I do not wish for my prized possession to get hurt in the past," The Duchess said petting the teen's head. The teen growled.

After setting up and getting the teen ready he was set into a glass tube. In a time machine that the Vampiric Allegiance would use to go to the future and further their conquering of the Earth. The machine started up and the teen braced for the impact. A bright red light shone and suddenly the teen was no longer in the machine.

Instead he was in the past. The 21st century. But it didn't seem like the 21st century he knew. It was nighttime and humans were walking about not worried about the Vampiric Allegiance's nighttime hunts. Eventually the teen found out that nobody knew vampires were real. He wasn't just in the 21st century. He was in the 21st century in another universe.

"Hey," A kind female voice said. The teen turned and saw a nice looking woman. "You look lost. What's your name?" The woman said. The teen smiled. "Matthew. Matthew Galloway," He said.
