Pearl was often in a daycare because her parents were always busy. Until, once when her and her parents were walking in the cross road, they got hit by a car. Her mother made it, however, she and her father didn't. Pearl's father died at the age of 27(hear me out) and Pearl died at the age of 2, it was a real tragedy, but then, Pearl was suddenly given two choices, one:protect people from ever having car accidents, or two:stay in a daycare of her choice and become a doll, become any child's guardian angel if they were to play with you until the day of their grave but you were to stay at the corners of the daycare until someone notices you.
Pearl chose the second option as she thinks that she is not capable of protecting people.
It's been a year, no one that has noticed Pearl. But her luck changed today, a girl called Melody noticed her in the corner, "huh? What that?" Melody wonders, "ooo! Dollie!!!" She ran to Pearl and picks her up, "you're my friend now! Let's go play!!" Melody said excited. Pearl was officially her guardian angel.
