In the year E409, an event which is now known as the "Recession" had occurred. Humanity had struggled to survive as the earth began to take its final breaths. Once they were given the gift of interplanetary travel by a faceless alien race known as the "Sunderers", as is the nature of humans, they pillaged and destroyed everything they were given. A small yet powerful communion between humans and Sunderers was formed to keep a portion of humanity alive. These humans would then go on to be known as "Asharians".
