Rises the moon

Susie's pov:

I walked down the street,The cold breeze hitting my bare shoulders as I thought about where I should go next. I've been walking for about 30 minutes already trying to find my dog who got out of the backyard by a hole in the fence that my dad has yet to fix.

The sun was starting to set and the air was getting colder. I need to find him before it gets too late and I have to go back home

"Hey I believe this belongs to you" I heard a familiar voice say from behind me.

I turned around to see gabriel holding my dog which was actually surprising to see since my dog is big asf.

"Heyy baby" I said grabbing my dog from Gabriel.

"Thankss Gabriel" I pulled him into a hug squeezing him tightly

"No problem" he said hugging back.

"Hey since it's getting dark out can I walk you back home?" He asked

"Sure" I said and we started walking.

"Wait you're supposed to be to my right away from the road" he said pulling me to the other side.

"Why do people even do that?" I asked holding his hand as we walked down the sidewalk.

"It's the sidewalk rule the girl Is always on the side away from the road" Gabriel said....

I looked at the trees as we walked watching as the breeze slightly made the leaves sway.

Gabe started kicking a rock around while we walked,it seemed to keep my dog sparky interested seeing as he tried to follow the rocks every move.

The sun finally set with the moon and stars taking its place. The air turned from cold to almost freezing and I felt myself shivering.

"You must be cold" Gabriel said taking his jacket off and putting it over my freezing shoulders.

"Thanks, but what about you? you're gonna get cold" I said putting the jacket on.

"I'll be fine it shouldn't take us long to get home" he said wrapping his arm around my waist. I nodded leaning my head on his shoulder.

I could tell sparky was getting tired too because he was breathing heavily and looked like he wanted to fall out.

"Wanna race" I said before running as fast as possible.

"THAT AINT FAIR" he yelled as he started running to catch up to me.

(5 minutes later)

"

You won that I'm tired" Gabriel said breathlessly. I slowed down looking back at Gabriel who was standing there with his hands on his hips trying to breathe.

"Come on gabe our houses are just down the street" I said walking towards him.

"Alright LeTs go" he said wrapping his arm back around my waist as we walked up the street....

"Hey thanks for walking me home" I said was we stood on the porch.

"No problem" he said.

"I almost forgot,here" I took his jacket off and tried to hand it to him but he stopped me.

"No you keep it I've got more" he said.

I pulled him into a kiss slightly blushing at the feeling of his warm lips on mine..

I was gonna deepen the kiss until..

"SUSIE" I heard my dad say from the window next to the front door.
"What the hell are you doing.Get your ass inside this house NOW!!"

"Bye gabe" I whispered before going inside letting sparky in first.

"Gabriel I suggest you get home NOW" dad yelled and Gabriel ran home as fast as he could...
