"I saw you, last night" Niklaus chuckled to himself as Elijah had entered the room "with that girl"

"With what girl?" Elijah acted stupid

"That bar maid girl, the vampire" Niklaus looked at Elijah like he knew everything "I saw you get really close with her last night"

"Niklaus I assure you that it's none of your business" Elijah snapped quickly

"I'm not prying" he raised his arms up in surrender and spun around "I was just ensuring that you keep to your business that we were originally sticking to, it'll be a shame if a girl got in the middle of it"

Elijah tilted his head. He didn't say anything but part of him wanted to. He wasn't sure just yet if Klaus would use this girl against him.

"I'm busy" Elijah excused himself and walked up stairs to his study. Tonight he couldn't think about Niklaus and his silly threats, he was about to win over the remainder of the wolves that resided in the bayou.

There was nothing else he could do except decide whether he wanted Lana to come along with him or not. He did not actually give her a definite answer and he didn't want her to get hurt by the wolves, again.

By the time he had weighed up the pros and cons and finally decided to leave without her, it was almost sun set, therefore he had to leave immediately to avoid her wrath.

He picked up his jacked and headed out, past Niklaus who had been sat in the same position. "Bye"he shouted smugly but Elijah chose to ignore it.

The sky had faded into a burnt orange colour and the trees in the bayou looked almost black to Elijah.

"Vampire" someone spat, weaving their way through the trees and in front "what are you doing here?"

"I'm looking for your alpha" Elijah outstretched his hand to show that he comes in peace "I'm not here to harm you"

"You killed our alpha" he spat "we had to find a new one"

"Well, may I speak to the new one" he stepped forward carefully "I'm here to make a deal"

"Why do we want a deal with you?" He hissed

"Sam" another wolf emerged "let's hear him out"

"Thank you" Elijah sighed in relief "are you the alpha?"

"No" Elijah couldn't see the mans face properly "but we'll take you"

He turned around and motioned for Elijah to follow him. He stuck behind the pair as they walked on a very subtle pathway.

As they walked, Elijah could sense more and more wolves join them in front and behind. Which worried him deeply.

"Now" the man in front of him shouted, Elijah couldn't turn fast enough. He felt a blunt object slam into the back of his head as he fell on the floor and blacked out.

-

"Elijah?!" The night had finally came and Lana was actually able to go outside, and she went straight to the compound to head off straight away.

"He left dear" Klaus stepped out of the hallway and looked at Lana with a sly grin "alone"

"Stubborn" she cursed to himself "and I suppose you let him go alone"

"He's an Original darling, I think he will be fine alone" Klaus nodded sarcastically "he doesn't need a chaperone"

"You let him go alone!" She repeated but this time louder and angrier "you let him go to a pack of wolves, that can poison him, he won't die but they can still hurt him" she growled

Klaus pinned her against the wall roughly and showed her his vampire face. "Do not dare speak to me like that" he spat "just because my brother is fond of you doesn't mean I will falter in ripping your head off right in front of him"

Lana struggled. She couldn't get out of his tight grip "you're hurting me" she whispered and Klaus let go

"Have I made myself clear?" He asked, still angry

"Crystal" Lana glared at him and felt her wrists heal. She then turned and walked out

"I suppose your going to find him?" Klaus shouted after her

Lana snapped her head to the side whilst she was still walking. She didn't say anything, only glared at him with hate and a slight bit of fear.

Obviously, she wasn't going to leave Elijah in the bayou, with wolves that probably hate him, alone.

She picked up her skirt to move quicker and headed for the bayou to find Elijah.

-

"Agh" Elijah woke up, his arms and legs were tied with rope that, he had guessed to be drenched in vervain. He could get through it but in his current state, it would just be safer for him to stay there for a while.

"He's awake" one alerted the other and another alerted the rest until all of the wolves looked at him. Including the alpha.

"Elijah Mikaelson" he smiled smugly "you have some nerve coming to our neck of the woods, after you murdered our own"

"You drove us to it" Elijah replied "you attacked us"

"The witches attacked you" the wolf interrupted

"How come I had to take vampires to my brother for his blood to heal them then?" Elijah retaliated "you attacked us"

The alpha was quiet for a moment "we still aren't making a deal with you" he huffed like a child

"Then my friend you're making the wrong decision" a woman's voice got closer, she was familiar to Elijah but the vervain had made his vision blurry and he could not see properly.

The feel of the ropes loosening on his wrists made him sigh in relief. "You said you'd wait" she scalded him when Elijah fell on the floor, free from ropes

"I apologise, Lana" he said after he took her hand for her to pull him up

"It's a good job I'm a good person and didn't take your brothers advice to leave you" Lana exhaled in annoyance

"You saw Niklaus?" Elijah asked, trying to readjust his vision as well

"I'm not talking about this when we are surrounded by wolves" she whispered to him before turning to the others "just hear out what he has to say, okay?"

"The witches are seeking the annihilation of the vampires in the city" Elijah began

"Big words" Lana scoffed silently to herself, which made Elijah crack up a bit. Other wolves started to speak out 'good riddance' and 'hallelujah'

"And odds are, they'll come after you when we have gone; witches cannot share the city" he turned around

"What is in it for us?" The Alpha barked

"Other than the remainder of your kind not being killed off?" Lana snapped

"If you align with the vampires, once we have prevailed you will obtain half of New Orleans" Elijah's bargain made the wolves and Lana look at him in complete and utter shock

"Deal" he roared, our stretching his arm to share Elijah's hand, who took it quickly.

"I told you, you wouldn't regret it" Lana lightly punched a wolves arm as a joke "okay, not funny" she whispered to herself as the wolf glared at her

Lana walked over to Elijah and smiled at him. He leant down and kissed her on the lips.

"What are you going to do next time?" She asked sarcastically

"Take you along with me" he laughed

"And what are you going to say to me now?" She asked, wanting a thank you

"Nothing" he spun her around and kissed her more passionately, feeling even more for this girl. She was fiery.

"I was thinking more of a thank you, but that was adequate" she winked
