It has been a month since he left, and though he hasn’t called, he still sends me messages asking if I’ve eaten or if I need anything. Little does he know how much I truly miss him. I think I’ve started to develop feelings for him.

He has a kind heart, but he can be quite rude at times. When Mrs. Rajput announced my marriage, I felt utterly crushed. My mind was clouded with negativity. If those closest to me could hurt me, how could I expect love and respect from anyone else? But I was mistaken. The moment I stepped into this new home, my life took a turn for the better. Maan has never pressured me into anything. Although we’ve spent only a short time together, there’s already a deep connection between us. I sense that he carries his own burdens. His hazel eyes reveal emotions he hasn’t voiced, and I’m eager to uncover those hidden feelings.

A month ago, I visited the Palace for my pag phera, and Mrs. Rajput or anyone else couldn’t touch me because bhaisa was by my side. I had a wonderful day filled with laughter alongside Veeransh bhaisa, Sourav bhaisa, and bhabhi sa. The next day, they left, and I returned home.

I genuinely feel happy with my in-laws, who I now consider my family. I’ve never experienced such love before; they treat me like a princess. My bond with Sam, Krish, Preeti, and Ved has grown stronger, and as for the elders, they are the sweetest and coolest people I’ve ever met.

Maa goes out of her way to make me feel cherished. Dadu, chachu, and papa spoil me more than my own father ever did. Chachi is simply the best. Once, she asked me about my favorite dish, and honestly, I never had one because no one ever cared to ask. I told her I liked dal bhaati churma, and she learned to make it just for me. Dadi has changed my perception of grandmothers; she is the coolest one I could have ever hoped for.

I’ve never felt this happy in my life, yet I still feel incomplete without him. Right now, I’m sitting on the swing, lost in a book he gifted me.

“Bhabhi how are you?” Sam's voice gently pulled me from my thoughts.

“Sam, why are you just standing there? Come inside; I'm fine.” I replied softly as I stepped into the room.

“What were you lost in?” Sam asked, wrapping her arms around me. She hugs me every day, and it warms my heart to feel her so close. I always wished for a bond like this with Raisha, but she kept her distance. Sam feels like a sister to me, someone truly special.
