Both me and Sage arrived at the party soon enough. The place was swarming with students. I knew this was not going to be a small gathering.

Sage tapped my shoulder and pointed to the back right corner. My eyes followed to where she was pointing. Samantha, Poppy and Theo were waving in our direction. Alongside them were Enzo, Blaise, and Draco. We walked through the sea of people trying to get to them, stopping a few times to talked to someone who wanted to talk to me, wishing me the best luck in my new school. I smiled politely and said my thanks and then proceed to leave.

Theo snorted as soon I approached them. "You really hate being the center of attention, don't you?". I just glared at him and punched his shoulder, making them all laugh.

"Wow Anna... You look really beautiful tonight.", Enzo hugged and complimented me at the same time. I hugged him back.

"You're not bad yourself.". I looked over him. I looked over them all, Draco and Blaise included. "Actually, you are all really fancy tonight.". They all smiled. I knew they were all my friends but I couldn't deny it – they were all good looking, like they were all blessed by Merlin himself.

"We are all going to miss you terribly Anna.", Draco said. All of them nodded in agreement.

Draco. He didn't have an easy life and sharing his feelings was not something that came easy for him either. I went to him and hugged him and Blaise at the same time.

"I'll miss you guys too. So very much.". I took a step back. "But please don't make me cry. The makeup is waterproof but I don't know how many tears it can handle before I look like a purple toad.". They all burst into laughter, the sad aura of the previous moment gone.

I turned to Poppy and Samantha, the last ogling Sage from head to toe, and spoke, arching a brow at them. "I thought this was supposed to be a small gathering!". Poppy's face reddened a little embarrassed. Samantha? Well... I don't think she even heard me. She couldn't take her eyes of Sage. I won't give it an hour before these two are locked inside one of the bedrooms of the Inn. I smiled to myself.

I felt Theo leaned in, whispering into my ear.

"Can I talk to you?". I raised my eyes to him and nodded. We move a little to the left corner of the space. He spun on his heels to face me and stood there looking at me with those piercing blue eyes. I felt I was about to get an earful from him. I darted my eyes to the floor completely ashamed. Theo was one of my best friends. I knew he was angry and hurt. And he was rightly so.

"I'm sorry.", I began to say. "I know I should've talked to you, told you but... But... I could not face you. I knew you were going to be disappointed with me."

I felt Theo exhale and then I felt his left hand around my neck, pulling me towards him until my face was buried in his broad chest. He hugged me and my arms wrapped around his waist in return. We stayed like that for a few minutes, until he decided to break the silence.
