An inherited life-threatening disorder that damages the lungs and digestive system. Cystic fibrosis affects the cells that produce mucus, sweat, and digestive juices. It causes these fluids to become thick and sticky. They then plug up tubes, ducts, and passageways. Symptoms vary and can include cough, repeated lung infections, inability to gain weight, and fatty stools. Treatments may ease symptoms and reduce complications. Newborn screening helps with early diagnosis.
Every person with Cystic Fibrosis inherits two CFTR genes, one gene from each parent. Children who inherit a CFTR gene with a mutation from both parents will have cystic fibrosis. The gene that encodes the CFTR protein, which is also called CFTR, is located on chromosome 7.
To be honest, Cystic Fibrosis is very rare in Asians, there are not much data, so my depictions of this disease might be based on cases of Cystic Fibrosis on Caucasian people, depicted in Five Feet Apart, or YouTubers who have Cystic Fibrosis. I might peruse academic papers, but still it might not be very accurate since I neither a doctor nor a patient.

Leukemia is a that disrupts the production of normal blood cells in the bone marrow and blood-producing organs. This can lead to anemia and conditions affecting the lymphatic system. When cell DNA changes in the bone marrow, normal blood cells mutate and cannot function normally. Leukemia affects white blood cells, which fight infection in the body, causing the immune system to weaken.

This is my third published story and it is about Yoonmin. This story would be less angsty than my other works, but I don't actually know exactly how it is going to end, we will have to wait and see.
Anyways, I am a multi-shipper so if you don't like a ship, you might want to check out my profile. I now have another ff called Married to the Dead, it is a Taekook story and written in a poem style.
