I woke up to Attihiko clutching me close. It's about 9:00AM according to my phone. I can't get away. "Hiko.." I whisper. "Wake up..." no answer. I'm tempted to pull his hair, but I take a different approach. I come up to his lips and touch them carefully. Afterward, seeing as that doesn't work, I begin to caress his face. "Wake up sleepyhead..." I say. "Nnngh......" he sits up sleepily.

"Oh, Akira!" he says happily. "Wait, did you call me Hiko?" I turn a slight shade of red. "Yeah.. I thought it'd be a cute nickname I guess...." He giggles. "I love that name!" I smile. "Thanks.." He stares at me for a moment. "There's something about you that is just so fascinating" he says.  I blush and quickly change the subject. "Random question, do you have a phone?"  He nods. "Can I have your number?"  "Sure" he replies, smiling at me. It's (insert phone number)!" I enter it in as he stares intently. "I'll text you as soon as I get back home alright?" I say. "Promise?" he asks. "Promise" I reply. "I'll be out for a couple of hours but then I'll be back." He stares at me. "Where you going?" he asks. I look away. "I'm out meeting some classmates from college." He sighs audibly. "Why can't you stay with me?" I laugh slightly. "I wanna stay with you too, but this has been planned for about two months, and there's not really anything I can do." Attihiko picks me up unexpectedly, and I just use his hand as an elevator sort of. "What?" I ask. His smile widens. "Before you leave, there's just one thing I need from you." I panic for a moment. "What is it?"

Without a warning, I'm brought up to his lips as he gives me a soft kiss. It's a moment I'd want to last forever, despite barely knowing him. He is one of the only ones to show me care, after all.

He puts me down and pushes me slightly with two of his fingers, face slightly red. I stumble back a little. "Okay okay I'm going! Bye then."  I head out of the forest trying to comprehend what just happened. He kissed me... he kissed me..... HE KISSED ME?! Oh my god he fucking kissed me... damn....

Val: Where are you we've been waiting half an hour, Mindy and Oliver are getting restless!!!

Me: be there soon, don't worry!

I shut off my phone and start driving.  You have to forget about Attihiko. You're meeting your classmates soon. You are meeting your classmates. We're going to lunch at a mall and catching up over our winter break. You can last four hours with people you aren't too fond of.  A couple more texts arrive from Val, but I ignore them. I'll see those three soon enough.  I text Attihiko to calm my nerves.

Me: It's me, Akira. I'll be back around five alright?

No reply, good. The less idiots the better. And with that, I exit my car.

"AKIRA!!!!" Val calls, running up to me. She pulls me into a tight hug I'm not ready for. "Hi..?" I say. "You didn't answer my textsssss" she whines, Mindy and Oliver walking up to us. "I found this amazing Korean place we can eat at in the mall" Oliver says. I nod slightly. He pulls me into the mall as the girls run in. I'm bored already. The three of them talk and I zone out. As I eat, my phone buzzes. Great. What idiot wants to bug me now?

Hiko:I MISS YOU WHERE ARE YOUUUUUU

I roll my eyes but laugh to myself. He really misses me huh.

Me:I'm eating right now dumbass. I'll be back at five, I told you already. Trust me, I'd rather be with you than with these idiots.

"Ooh, Akira! Who you texting?" Mindy asks, reaching across the table to grab my phone. "No one." I tell her. "We'll we're supposed to go shopping but I'm not gonna let you until you show me. I'll stay here for an hour if I need to!" I sigh. "A friend. I'm talking to a friend of mine, he's just asking where I am."

They all look at me. "YOU HAVE MORE FRIENDS?!" They all shout. I nod slightly. "Yea...?"

For the next hour while we look at clothes, I'm being pestered with questions about Attihiko. Questions like: "How long have you known him?" and "Where does he live?" "How old is he?" I ignore all of them, and pick out an alternative style vest with chains on it. I pick up a matching belt also. The pestering continues all the way back to my car. I try on a necklace I bought casually. I text Attihiko when I enter my car.

Me:I'm going home right now. See you in half an hour.

He responds immediately.

Hiko:I'll be waiting for you when you get back!

I grin softly and start my car. How did I end up knowing him..?
