There hasn't been much to do lately. Enji's busy with his own work. I've been training more to hone my combat skills. Haven't heard from Liz since our little meet up. Now that I have little to nothing to do, I wanted to find out more about the Eldorians, but where would I get my information from?

I first thought of the library. I walked in and started looking around, "Would the Eldorians be in the ancient history section? Or maybe the fiction section?" I didn't know where to start. I asked the librarian if she knows of any books about the Eldorians but to no avail. I gave up on searching in the library after that.

Next I headed to an internet café near me to search the web. I could've used my phone but I needed some fresh air anyways. I typed in Eldorians, "0 search results found." I was starting to lose hope after that. I also tried searching the deepweb, however nothing showed up there either.

It was getting late and I realized Sizro's apartment was really close by, so I zoomed there and knocked on the door, "What a pleasant surprise. How have you been my boy? Come in." said Sizro, seeming delighted to see me. I sat down in the living room. He had the fireplace lit and some old 60s cartoons on. "I have some leftover wafers and some warm milk." He brought them over. "Thank you, sir. I was wondering if I could sleep her tonight? Not that I don't have a place to stay but I find comfort being around you." I said. "You can drop the formalities my boy, just call me old man Sizro. And of course you can stay, ever since the accident this place has been quite lonely." He sad with sorrow in his voice.

"The accident?" I asked. "A few years ago, a group called The Harbingers raided this very house and kidnapped my daughter and her child. They demanded information I could not provide them so they murdered my only family." I could feel his voice shaking. "I'm so sorry that happened to you Sizro." Those bastards, what could they want with this poor old man. "I'm going to get some rest. You make yourself at home my boy." He said before heading to his room.

I headed to my room to get some rest too. I walked in and left the door open slightly just in case. The room a bit dusty was comforting. It had a soft aroma of cinnamon.

"Eldorians, huh." I said to myself. "What did you say?" It was Sizro. The bathroom was just past my room and he overheard me while passing by. "You know something about the Eldorians Sizro?" I asked, not really expecting any answers, "Let me tell you a story kiddo." He said as he sat down next to me.

"The Eldorians once roamed this Earth freely, nurturing its life and enjoying the nature. They were tall, about 9 feet tall, and very strong with beautiful red hair and purple eyes, you couldn't miss them. Eldorians, unlike humans, were blessed with individual powers that they would pass along their bloodlines and they'd utilize them for the gain of nature, but humans grew afraid of the Eldorians, they resented them. So they drove them away. Eldorians live in hiding, fearful of humans. Though if they were ever to resort to violence, humans would seize to exist."

"I can trust you." Old man Sizro said. "I have a secret."

"Of course you can, gramps." I said. "I am an Eldorian myself, my boy." He said with a slight tremble in his voice.

"what.", "But you must not tell anyone. The power passed down to us was shapeshifting, we used human disguises to blend in with the people, me and my family of course. We still age normally and our forms change according to our age, though Eldorians live much longer than humans." He explained. "I never would have guessed. Your secret's safe with me." I said, still sort of shocked. "Thank you my boy. It feels good finally telling someone.", "Then may I ask, were The Harbingers after information about the Eldorian artifacts?" I asked curious what he would say.

"Precisely. The Eldorians owned many artifacts that helped them control or expand their powers. I don't know which artifact they'd be after but most artifacts are located in Eldorian ruins scattered all across the world, but the densest population of Eldorians were situated in Nevada. They're usually marked with a beaming light invisible to human eyes." He said, "But there are certain kinds of glasses and goggles that could help you find them. The ruins although abandoned, may still be home to other life forms the likes of which you have never seen."

"This all sounds like a fairytale. Thank you for the information, I'll be sure to put a stop to their plans and find out what happened to your family, Sizro." I said, now determined to stop those bastards.

"Thank you my boy. You should rest up for now. I'll see you in the morning." Now that I know where to go, it's only a matter of time before we stop The Harbringers plans.

"Nevada was about 10 hours away and I still didn't know what kind of gadget I needed to find the Eldorian ruins, but I'll worry about that later." I thought to myself. That night I slept like a baby, I needed the rest after all that's been happening. In the morning I was greeted by Sizro calling me for breakfast. Sizro had made eggs, bacon, tater tots, with a side of a fruit I'd never seen before. "This fruit is called a Ch'nara" The pronunciation was kinda weird and I couldn't say it like Sizro did. "I grow them myself. They're native to the Eldorian lands and are very nutritious." He explained. I'm a fan of exotic fruits, so I was excited to try this out. I put it on my tongue and didn't even close my mouth before I was struck with a spike of flavor. It's like swallowing a needle, but then it was sweet with a hint of tanginess still there. Sizro seeing the reaction I gave began to laugh, "It's not easy to get used to, however it provides you with energy that could last you the whole day. Its unsafe for humans to eat more than one every 27 hours." He said, "They were my daughter's favorite".

Hearing the way that he talked about his family broke my heart. I've grown resentful of people who haven't wronged me, but have wronged the innocent.

I finished up eating, thanked old man Sizro, and headed out.
