Maxwell Tucker is the exact opposite of a golden child. Or atleast anyone remotely successful. That definitely comes into account when he gets a broken ankle after a very stupid incident - that he has an excuse for, he was high as hell.
Then three things happen;
One: his ankle hurts like a b*tch
Two: his enemy is assigned to take care of him
Three: he gets a cat!
Oh yeah, maybe there are four. Four: his enemy turns into a little more than his enemy...

Maxwell was such a fun person to read about tbh. His difficulties and struggles in life were presented so well and the way Barnes helped him out sm was so sweet. The characters were so interesting and the plot was so good and fun. Read this a while ago so i don't remember much details but i still remember how much i loved the characters and the whole book <3
