Chapter 13: The Ship has Sailed

Rimuru POV

My little Kirito's so grown up. He finally got a girlfriend!

< The individual Kirito denies this fact. >

> He's in denial, it's okay. <

Luminous, Chloe, and I left Kirito and Asuna alone at a table while we ate outside. 

It was a peaceful night. Veldora was burning the food, so Velzard-nee had to help him, Chloe was hugging onto my shoulder and Luminous was twirling her food with a fork.

Chloe: Ne, Rimuru-san?

Rimuru: Yeah?

Chloe: Do you think Asuna-san is a good person?

Rimuru: She disrespects me, thinks I'm weak, thinks Kirito is stronger than me, looks at me as if I'm an ant, but she has a good personality when you actually warm up to her. 

Luminous: Should I go kill her darling~?

Rimuru: N-no, or else Kirito might never have a girlfriend let alone wife again. 

Luminous: Hmph...bummer.

I kissed her on the head and she smiled seductively. 

Rimuru: Besides, Asuna is pretty strong. For a human in this universe.

Kirito POV

Don't get me wrong, I don't absolutely hate Rimuru-nii but as of now, I wasn't feeling any happiness. 

They left me! Alone! With Asuna! Do they think I'm gonna do something to her?

Anyways, Asuna was preparing the rabbit that I cooked. With just mere taps of her knife, all the ingredients she brought instantly got sliced into perfect parts.

Kirito: Is this because of the cooking skill?

I picked up a perfect piece of carrot, no bigger than my index finger. 

Asuna: Yup! That's what a maxed out cooking skill does! I bet you've never seen this have you?

Well...Rimuru-nii hand cuts because it would be too easy to do it with a skill. So no.

Kirito: Nah, I haven't.

Asuna: I knew it! So I'm better than Rimuru at too many things now!

Kirito: HMMMMM. I HIGHLY DOUBT THAT.

After about fifteen minutes, Asuna whipped up a pretty nice meal consisting of soup, ribs, salad, and other random side dishes.

Kirito: Itadekimasu. 

Asuna: Itadekimasu.

As we were eating, Asuna asked me several things about nii-san. Like too many things.

Asuna: What's his standing vertical? How tall is his avatar? What's his sword made out of? How is it a katana?

Kirito: AHHH! Shut up!

Asuna: Hmph! Also, do you think you and Rimuru could meet me on Floor 74's main city tomorrow at like...9 AM?

Kirito: Huh? Why?

This was strange. Normally Asuna didn't even care about me and never bothered to ask me to go anywhere. So why now?

Asuna: I just wanna see how much you guys have improved.

Kirito: Okay I guess we have time. 

At this moment, Chloe-san came in from outside, probably to get a drink and smirked at me.
