Chapter 13 | Queen

Mary Jones POV

I cross my arms in anger and faustrastion, watching as all the servants clean every spot of the castle.

Clara slowly comes into the living room and sits beside me on the coach, "Are you going to be like this forever Mary? We have guests coming today you need to make your best impression"

I look at clara with ine brow raised, "Be nice? Nice to the family that related to a monster that is ruled King? Never!" I turn to look away.

I hear Clara sigh, " I am not fan of the king either but you are now Queen and you must act like it. You have power that many people would die for, you could change Monaco and help the people here...that's only if only you want to be Queen '' I then hear Clara get up and walk away.

Sitting in that coach, thinking of what Clara jist said to me. Even if i hate to admit it, Hudson gave me a power that can help others. I guess that is why my parents arranged this marriage, because they knew with this type of power I could finally make the world a better place. I will never be a good wife to my husband, but i could be a great Queen to my people.

The main doors of the living room swing open, "His majestys relatives have arrived"

Great, time to be the best Queen i know how to be.

I walk down the long stairs down to the carriages that have arrived.

I decided to let my brown hair down again and just curl the ends. I wore a blue dress that had a bow at the back of it.

The door of the first carriage opened and middle aged man and women came walking down, after they had come out of the carriage one little boy came out of the carriage as well.

"Your highness, what a pleasure to meet you" the woman said first, all of them bow down.

"The pleasure is mine, i have been eager to me you, may i get all of your names" i scan them even more than before.

"I am Marquis Antonio Celeste, I am the late King's cousin, this is my wife Marquess Anika Celeste, and this is our son Louis. Antonio had dark black hair with bits of white showing.  And his smile was breathtaking, he was quite a handsome man. And don't even get me started on his wife, Anika had glowing dark skin with her hair braided and put into a ponytail. This woman looked even younger than me. Gabriel places his hand on Louis' shoulder, smiling down at him. Louis had curly dark hair and dark tan skin like this mother but his eyes were green like his fathers. I could already tell he was going to have every girl's heart when he's older.

I kneel down a bit, squeezing Louis cheek a little, "And aren't you a cutie"

After the servants lead them inside the next carriage rolls up in front of me, the door opens revealing a couple that looks around their 50's and two young adults that look around my age.

They all bow down and i give them a small bow in return, "And who are you all if i may ask"

The older man clears his throat, " I am Duke Julio Celeste, your majesty's uncle, this is my wife Duchess Sofia, my son Mateo and my daughter Esmeralda", Julio and Sofia also had streaks of white in their brown hair. They stood straighter than a pencil and didn't smile at me. Mateo stood tall and towered over the rest of his family.  He had dark brown hair and tanned skin, has brown eyes, hair was wavy and he had a beauty mark right on his right cheek. His sister, Esmeralda did not look anything like her parents. She had pale white skin with blonde curly hair and blue eyes. She reminded me of Hudson and his mother.

After I greeted them and told them how excited I was to have them here, I let the servant take them inside the house.

Ugh finally one more carriage and we're done.

I watch the doors open and reveal Hudson's parents...
