Melanie Albon POV

"How will you get him to fall in love if you just announced you won't fuck him?" Nina asks once she joins me as I appreciate my drink.

"Oh, that was bullshit. You should know it by now," I say as I see my brother and George at the same table.

"What makes you think that doing what you always do will work?" She asks curiously.

"Because I will just improve slowly. If the dynamic changes too much he will know something is up," I say calmly. I can do this.

"I saw you with a different guy before I went to the bathroom; that is not the way to go!" She warns me, and I laugh.

"George tried to scare him away, he likes to know I am leaving with him. Which I will make him think I won't. I will spend all night with another guy, I will get wasted, and he will have to stop from leaving with some guy who will take advantage of me," I say confidently, and her jaw drops.

"What if he does nothing? I can't take a grown man out!" Now she is worried and I am laughing.

"My brother is still very likely to do it for you, I've got it all planned."

"Why can you leave with George wasted but not with another guy?" She was confused, and I signalled her to come closer.

"Because I've fucked George sober, not only drunk, he knows the limit. If I fall asleep on the way to the hotel or house, he won't do anything, neither will he do it if I vomit," I explain, and she nods.

"So, he already cares for you and knows the limits. You want to make him jealous."

"Not jealous, that means feelings; he doesn't have them for now. He is territorial, what's his is his, and I've been his a few too many times in the past. I should've come back sooner; this is fun," I say happily as I look around.

I tested my limits and the limits of George's card. I had Jack, or whatever his name is, because I invented that one, and I told him I would be back. After dancing a bit and having fun in the DJ booth, I approached the guys at a VIP table.

"Alex!" I call him as I exaggerate the vowels in his name, making it unnecessarily long, and I see both him and George immediately looking up and frowning, twins.

"What have you done?" Alex asks worriedly as he prepares to get up, but George is faster.

"Nothing! I had fun, and now I am leaving for more fun," I say as a smirk appears, and George looks pissed.

"With whom?" Alex asks, still worried, and I point to Jack as he stands close to the exit of the club.

"No fucking way!" George exclaims angrily as he holds my hand. "I will take care of it; I will see you soon."

"I don't want to leave with you, dickhead," I complain as I pout, and he grabs my face and makes me look up at him.

"You are not leaving with him either. So, you either sit here with your brother, or you come with me. Choose!"

Well, call it backfire because this is hot! I like this version of George. This is territorial; he has reacted in some questionable ways when he saw me wanting to leave with random guys, but this is attractive. Now, I want to leave with him.

"You are not my dad."

"That wouldn't be ethically or morally right." He quickly replies with little reaction in his voice.

"Alex! Put your friend in his place!" I ask him, and he laughs.

"Why would I do that? Work it between yourselves, you said I would never have to be in the middle of you two," he says with a victorious smile and I roll my eyes, focusing on the man towering over me.

"Leave me alone, George. Do you really think you can stop me from having sex? You can't," I say as I tap his shoulder gently to comfort him through his loss.

"I won't stop you; you will have it with me, not him. Let's go," he grabs my wrist gently, but I follow him nonetheless. I pass Nina, and she shakes her head in disbelief, and I wink. I did it.

George paid the tab I exponentially increased, he didn't even give me the reprimanding look he usually does. We left to the door where Jack awaited.

"She is not leaving with you, mate," George tells him with a cocky smile, and I roll my eyes.

"Sorry, he is more jealous than I predicted," the phrase was more to George than him, but he apparently didn't care as we headed to the cab I had called.

We got in it, giving George's hotel as a destination, and I smiled. It worked.

"So, why couldn't I leave with him?" I ask him, and I turn to look at him.

"Because you are wasted, he would be taking advantage of you," he angrily says, and I get closer to him.

"Are you going to take advantage of me, Georgie? Because that seemed a lot like jealousy. I didn't fall asleep, and I didn't vomit, so I am not that wasted."

"You are slurring your speech; I know when you are wasted. I am not stupid, Melanie," he says as he ignores my questions.

"Were you jealous?" I ask as I rest my hand on his thigh, and I see his clenched jaw as he looks at me.

"No."

"Then leave me at Alex's apartment; there is no need for me to go with you," I cross my arms and look away from him. This has to get a reaction from him.

"What do you want from me?" Frustration filled his voice, and I shrugged.

"The truth."

"I don't want anyone else fucking you but me. Is that what you want to hear?" I almost crack my neck, turning so fast to look at him. What?
