*After the gang split up*

James was laying in his bed and looked up at the ceiling as he began to think of today's events. He couldn't get over the fact that his team broke apart. Jessie ranaway with a random guy and meowth went with her. He felt his heart pang as he remembered how he saw Jessie taking the guys hand and get into a taxi. He then heard his bedroom door open and saw Jessiebelle walk in with a smirk on her face. She layed down next to him and traced his lip with her finger. He felt so uncomfortable with her , he missed Jessie and her gentle touch. Even though they were friends , he missed how she smelt and her soft skin and beautiful eyes. Yes she was hard on him , but he knew she cared about him. He shed a tear , but made sure that jessiebelle didn't see him cry.

Jessiebelle:*Smiles* Tomorrow is our wedding day , we'll be forever bonded through our love.

James just nodded and layed still in his bed as jessiebelle kissed his cheeks and left. He looked up at the ceiling as he tried to imagine his future now without Jessie and meowth.

*4 years later*

James was walking the streets of as he felt the city breeze blow through his hair. His emerald eyes shined in the sun as he was hooked my the arm by his wife. He regrets his choices in life , but learnt to live with them. Jessiebelle was 3 months pregnant and was really happy about it. But James... , James wasn't happy at all. He didn't want her to become pregnant , but he was forced to help her get a child. He took her back to their mansion and left again to go to work. He was exhausted and made his way to the huge building. He went inside and went to his office. He sat there as he began to think of life and how it got to this. He closed his eyes as he could feel the giant scar on his back that Jessiebelle gave him last night. He could still feel the bandages choke his torso. He sat there for hours and hours till he could leave.

*8 hours later*

James packed his things as he got ready to leave. He looked around the glass room and left with no hesitation.  When he got outside he noticed that it was raining. He ran through the rain and made a turn at a nearby park with a gazebo. He hide under the gazebo and sat on the bench to wait till the rain would subside. He then saw a rather beautiful woman walking in the rain and come this way. He felt his heart race as she came towards him. But he felt his heart skip a beat when he began to see the girl's face more clearly. He felt tears threaten to escape his eyes.

James:*Speechless* J-jessie....

Jessie:*Not paying attention* Excuse me sir , is it ok if I stay here for a bit.

James:*Overjoyed to hear her voice*  Jessie it's me James.

Jessie:*Shocked* J-james.

Jessie was about to cry when she saw her old friend sitting infront of her. She moved a strand of her wet hair to see better. Tears ran down her cheeks as water ran down her hair and clothes.  She jumped into his arms and hugged him with all her might.

Jessie:*Crying tears of joy* Oh my gosh James , it's been years , I missed you so much.

James:*Hugs her back tightly* I missed you too Jessie.

Jessie:*Laughs as tears ran down her cheeks* Hehe sorry I'm soaking wet , I'm making your d DEsuit wet too.

James:*Shrugs as he smiles* Eh , I don't care about this lousy suit heh.

Jessie giggled as she heard James say that. She missed her companion so much.  James noticed that Jessie looked different than from when he remembers. She seemed shy , she wore a oversized long sleeved black top , black jeans and a black hoodie. Her hair was down and covered her butt. She wasn't wearing any make-up which made her look cute and innocent. She looked sick in some way too. There were bags under her eyes which were kind of invisible , but visible to James since she was right infront of him. She was lighter than usual when he picked her up and hugged her. He felt a slight bit of worry run through his body as he looked in her weak eyes. He set her down next to him as she began to smile softly. Jessie looked James and rubbed her arm as she felt shy. He looked different to her which made her heart skip a beat.

Jessie:*Shyly* S-so how have you been ?

James:*Lies* Hehehe , Life has been....great.

Jessie:*Looks at him with a smirk* I see...hehhe and what made it so great ?

James:*Laughs nervously* I.... I'm doing better than I have back when we were team rocket...heh.

Jessie felt her heart flutter as he said that he was doing ok . She was so proud of him. She put on a soft smile which showed how genuine she was.

James:*Changes the subject* So how are you and how's meowth ?

Jessie:*Takes out a picture of meowth* He's doing well , he does miss you sometimes , but luckily he found a mate and I'm hoping they'll get along.

James:*Looks at Jessie* And how are you Jessie.

Jessie:*Puts on a nervous smile* I've...been...ok aswell hehe.

She smiled nervously while rubbing her arm. Her long sleeves rubbed against her marked skin. A cold breeze then blew by which made her shiver , because she was soaking wet from the rain. James noticed this and immediately took off his jacket. He wrapped it around Jessie which made her blush. When his arm brush hers , she jumped and nervously laughed as James looked at her in confusion.

James:*Curiously* You ok Jessie ?

Jessie:*Stutters* Y-ya...just a bit jumpy these days heh.

James doesn't by it , but he doesn't want to pressure her about it. He sat back down once he saw that the jacket was around Jessie. She smiled and looked away from James. She fiddled with a hair strand as she watched the rain fall from the sky. James did the same until he heard Jessie scratch through a backpack she brought with her. He heard plastic containers hit against each other. They sounded like pill capsules of some sort. Jessie then took out a half eaten piece of cake and offered James some. James smiled and took the piece of cake. The two ate the cake and smiled. James missed eating cake , he even forgot how it tasted. His mouth watered as he tasted the soft cake on his tongue. Jessie giggled when she finished after him. She then took out a bottle of water and gulp half of the water down. James was shocked when he saw Jessie gulp half of the water down. Jessie noticed this and hid her face in her hoodie.

James:*Embarrassed* S-sorry Jessie , I-I didn't mean to stare.

Jessie:*Embarrassed* N-no it's fine...

James scratched the back of his neck as he tried to get use to the new Jessie that's infront of him right now. Jessie put the bottle back in her bag and took out a separate bottle and pills. James watched as Jessie took the pills and gulp down the water. James began to wonder what the pills were for. He didn't want to ask Jessie about , because they just reunited after 4 years and are trying to reconnect like old times. The rain began to subside. Both James and Jessie got up from their seats and looked at each other in shock.

Both:*Surprised* Your leaving too ?

The two were shocked when they said the same words and laughed. They missed these good times together. Jessie sighed and took the first few steps forward.

James:*Shyly* J-jessie wait...

Jessie:*Curiously* Hm ?

James:*Longingly* W-when will I see you again ?

Jessie sighed and smiled at her old friend. She walked up to him and put her hand on his cheek.

Jessie:*Smiles* I only come out when it rains or at night so... tomorrow isn't going to rain...so I'll come at night.

James:*Smiles* See you then Jessie.

Jessie gave him one last hug before leaving with a smile. James sighed as he began to walk home. Now he has something to be happy about. He was so happy when he saw Jessie's beautiful face , heard her voice and felt her soft touch and smelt her strawberry scent. When he got home Jessiebelle was troublesome and beat him with a broom , but he didn't care , atleast he saw Jessie after all this time and knew that she was ok , but deep down he knew that she wasn't ok.
