Office Romance

Walking through the large automatic doors, and even though it's raining, I'm in a good mood. It's the last day before Christmas, the company has made a record profit, and to boot, I've given everyone an early finish today.

As the doors close behind me, Janice pops up head up from behind the reception desk, "Morning!" She exclaims whilst I'm wiping my feet on the carpet.

Upon turning around, I see you haunched over, drenched from the torrential rain outside trying to catch your breath.

"Are you okay there?" I say.
Still breathing deeply, you manage to mutter some words our, "Y...yes. Just so w..wet! I really should remember my umbrella." You eventually calm your breathing down and stand up straight. You pace walk through the door that I'm still holding and turn left to go to the lockers to change. In the mean time, I walk over to the elevator. Like I expected it's quite empty, I press the button to take me to my office on the 29th floor. I'm still always amazed of the view I get from my desk, I definitely spend more time staring out of it than I should.

Upon reaching my office I set my bag down, take my laptop out and turn it on. I'm checking my ever growing mountain of emails when, suddenly there's a knock at my door. "Come in!" I look up to see you enter with your hands full, whilst dressed in a figure hugging powder blue dress which shows off a teasing amount of cleavage. Thankfully it's nothing urgent and he's just telling me about the status of one of our projects we are aiming to put into action in the new year.
