I woke up to the sound of beeping and the smell of a hospital room. "I'm in a hospital? How did I get here? All I remember was that I was at school, Dylan came over and tried to take our money, and Jay got stabbed in the arm and I can't remember what happened after. Oh god, Jay. I need to find out if he's ok." I try to get out of the bed I'm in but a feel a slight pinch in my left arm and see I am hooked up to an I.V.

I take the I.V out of my arm and I could have sworn that I saw a blue glow at the small hole from the needle. Almost like tiny blue squares entering my arm. "Must be delusional." I say to myself. Weirdly enough I feel completely fine even though I just woke up in a hospital bed. Infact, I feel way better than usual. Like I have tons of energy. I notice the beeping has stopped and see that the monitors are now completely off. Not because I wasn't hooked up. They were just completely off. "Those were just on. No way I was imagining beeping. Whatever, I need to go find Jay."

I tried to walk out of my room but ran into a doctor right at the doorway. We both fell to the floor, and he looked at me and had a look of panic on his face. He started taking deep breaths and calmed down. "Why are you out of bed?" the Doctor asked.

"Why are you in such a rush?" I respond.

"Your monitors stopped showing on the computers, so we assumed you flatlined. Why are they off?"

"I don't know. I just woke up and saw there was an I.V in my arm so I took it out. And now I feel fine so I can just leave." I tried to walk past the Doctor quickly, but he just stood in my way and looked over at the bed.

"The plugs," he says, "The machines are still plugged in. They are switched on to." He walked over to the machines and inspected them. "There is nothing wrong with these so how did they just stop working?" I didn't give him enough time to ask me though. I ran out the door and tried to find the nearest front desk. I saw one but realized that I was still wearing a hospital gown. They'll just send me back to my room. But when I got close to the computer desk, I felt an energy spike through my body. It started when I got close to the computer and my arm started to feel weird. It was like a tiny shock or when you hit your elbow and you get that weird sensation in your arm minus the pain.

When I felt that surge of energy I somehow instantly knew where every patient in the hospital was staying. Including Jay. I heard the lady at the desk say, "What the heck" and she was tapping the computer monitor. "What was that? First the Monitors and then the computer. And how do I know all this information? I need to get to Jay and talk to him. Together we might be able to come up with some stupid reason that can at least calm me down."

I make my way to Jays room and walk in and see him up and watching T.V with his arm wrapped in bandages. When I walked into the room, I felt another burst of energy and Jay Jumped in his bed like he just got jump scared. "What the hell!" he screamed. I didn't know why he was so scared until I heard a low humming noise, and I looked back at the T.V and saw the pixels and images coming off the T.V and they were floating towards me.

"AHHH holy crap!" I yelled and tried to back away from the floating pixels and energy. But they just kept coming towards me and were absorbed into my arms. The T.V was now a black screen even though it was just on and was still plugged in. I looked at Jay and he was both scared and amazed. "Dude," I said, my voice shaking, "What is happening to me?!"

"Quiet man. You really don't remember?"

"Remember what?" I said, still scared as to what was going on. "The Last thing I remember was Dylan stabbing you and I got really angry, and I just blacked out. I can't remember anything after." Jay then proceeded to explain to me what happened. What I did. What I now was.

I had to sit down now because my legs felt like they were going to collapse from under me. "I really did all that? The rage, the energy, the demon?"

"Yeah. Dylan totally fainted too. He probably peed himself. Hahahaha!" Jay was laughing then looked at me and stopped. "Hey, Nathan, look here." I looked up from the floor and turned to face him. "What you are, is awesome." he spoke in a softer voice. "Not a monster. Not a freak. You're awesome. You saved me. Dylan was going to kill me and make you take the blame."
