Dreams are weird but nice. They show you what you are thinking about most or what you want most in life, only for you to wake up and realize you have powers and are now in a max security jail cell for having those powers. Ok, that last part may be a bit specific, but you get the point.

I dreamt I was back home playing games with Jay like any normal day. Then I heard a loud knock on the front door. My parents were out at the store, so I went and answered it myself. When I opened the door no one was there. I looked around outside and just thought it was a ding-dong-ditch. I closed the door and turn around to head back to jay but now I am in a giant long concrete hallway with massive cell doors next to me. I felt like an ant next to the doors. I then felt the ground start shaking and turned around and saw the guard from before walking towards me laughing. I tried to go invisible, but my powers weren't working. The guard was now right on top of me, and he raised his foot to crush me under his giant boot. I screamed and right before he crushed me, I woke up.

I looked around hoping I would be back in my bed at home, and I just had a normal nightmare, but all I saw was the inside of my cell. I was still trapped in a nightmare. I got up and looked out the window. I probably only slept for about an hour because level 1 and 2 were still outside. Then I heard the locks on my cell door coming undone and a guard stood in the doorway holding an AR of some kind.

"Yard time freak." said the guard.

I walked closer to him and thought he would put a bullet in me just for fun, but he let me walk past him. I looked over and saw 4 more guards letting the rest of the numbered cells open.

From cell 258, out walked a boy with long spikey blond hair and electric blue eyes. His face said he liked to cause as much mischief as possible. He looked to be 1 year younger than me.

Then from cell 356 out walked a girl with long red hair and a freckled face. Looking at her amber eyes, I could guess she was more like the quiet type who just went with the group.

Next to her cell was cell 846 and out walked a boy with dark skin and curly black hair. He had deep green eyes and looked like he was off in his own world. The weird thing was he couldn't have been more than 13 years old. What was someone so young doing in level 3?

Finally, I looked over at my neighbor in 545. He had jet black hair and bags under his black eyes. He was tall and had a look of tiredness and seriousness on his face. His face instantly said, "If you're going to talk to me, for your sake it better be important." He was the oldest looking out of all of us.

"Great," I thought, "My only hope according to June was in the hands of this grim reaper wanna be."

The guards had us get in a line and they lead us to the elevators where they split the group into two different elevators, and we went down. When we got to the bottom the groups merged again and we walked out to the yard. I got to admit, seeing everyone stop what they were doing just to get a look at the top of the food chain and me being in it, felt a little good. After a couple of seconds everyone went back to what they had been doing before. The level three kids dispersed. The kid with spikey blond hair and the girl with the long red hair walked over to another group of kids while the boy with green eyes and the tall kid with black hair walked over to the two who were sitting alone in the mess hall. But when I looked over at where they were sitting, I noticed someone else was with them. A level 1 kid with grey eyes and messy hair.

Jay saw me and ran over and just about tackled me. "Dude, you got put with the top dogs? Nice!" said Jay. Like always he saw the good in a bad situation.

"Hey man, I can't have a level 1 taking me down." I said jokingly.

"I am still stronger than you. Oh dude, you have to come meet my new friends. They are actually pretty cool." and he led me over to the people he was talking to. Now the two boys from level 3 were sitting there too.
