"Hey, wake up."
"Emma.."
A voice called out to the orange-haired girl.
Pain shot through her body, she felt as if her whole body was burning.
Her eyes slowly opened, brimming with tears from her steaming body.
"Emma, get up." She could almost see a figure, someone familiar.
"Emma.. I need you to get.." Emma smiled lightly, opening her eyes more.
"Iza.." Emma reached her hand out to touch the figure.
"Up!" The figure rested its hands on her shoulder and shook her violently.
Emma's eyes shot open, blinking rapidly as the figure began to clear.
"Emma!" The figure sighed in relief, seeing his friend finally awake.
"R-ray!" Emma exclaimed, hugging him.
"Are you okay? You're boiling hot."
"Mm!" Emma nodded, before slapping the boy.
"Agh!"
"And you! You were being suicidal again!"
Ray groaned, rubbing his injured face.
"Are you crazy? We nearly lost you again!"
"I'm fine, though. More importantly.." Ray looked around and Emma followed his gaze.
"Where are we..?"
"And where are the others..?"
Ray closed his eyes to think.
"I remember being rescued before I collapsed. It was a huge man." He recalled, only to be met with surprise from his friend.
"Eh? So were we! I remember hearing a gentle voice call out to us before I blacked out." Emma responded.
"So we were rescued from two different places? By a man and girl."
"We weren't tied up either. We've been sleeping comfortably with food and water beside us, look."
Emma slowly got up from the bed.
Ray was right. It was as if someone really wanted them safe.
"Maybe.. It's Minerva? What if he knew we needed help?"
Ray pondered, helping Emma up.
"Hey, here." Ray called out to her.
The girl followed the boy, allowing him to help her walk as they tread the strange cave carefully.
"Wait." Ray stopped her, pointing at the light approaching them.
The duo backed away slowly, unsure on what to expect.
"Hello?" A gentle voice called out curiously, earning Emma's confused face.
"Oh." The mysterious figure smiled, noticing them.
