The rivalry between Elijah and Arina had been raging for a few weeks now, with Elijah always trying any form of power he could to make Arina's life a living hell. For Arina, who had taken the top spot in the class, Elijah's constant bullying and attempts at intimidating her had become a bitter pill to swallow.

So, when Elijah blocked her way in the lunch line, Arina had enough. She looked up into his face and sighed. 'Just move Elijah,' she said in an angry tone.

But Elijah just chuckled and shook his head. 'And what if I don't, sweetheart?' He said with a smirk

Arina's blood seethed with anger. But she managed to realize that giving into Elijah's taunting was just gonna feed his need to dominate. She took a deep breath and tried to keep her cool.

'Look,' she began. 'You might be able to get away with bullying me at the academy, but that won't last long. If you don't want to deal with the consequences of your actions outside of school, I suggest that you move out of my way right now.'

Elijah gave her a long, threatening look before he finally stepped aside. Arina bit her lip and hurried past him. She was determined to prove to Elijah that she was strong enough to stand up to him. She knew that one day, he would learn his lesson, whether he wanted to or not.

The next day she went to class and was surprised to find that she was the only one there. She sat down, opened her books, and started to study. As she was leafing through her pages, she heard someone coming in but decided to ignore the sound and focused on reviewing her notes.

Suddenly, she felt a presence and looked up, realizing that Elijah was sitting right next to her. She gave him a death stare.
'Why are you sitting beside me?' She asked, a hint of annoyance in her voice.

'Why can I not?' He asked, his eyebrow raised smugly. He leaned in a little closer and added in a suspicious tone: 'No but out of all places why are you here?'

She rolled her eyes and grumbled, 'Nothing. I just want to see my princess. She grinned sarcastically while he returned the smirk.

'And where might she be? Because she's not here,' she challenged before taking her eyes away from him and going back to her books.

“In front of me perhaps” he smirked at her “Haha very funny Elijah,” she said sarcastically “I’m serious,” he said in a stern and serious voice “Whatever”

As Elijah walked away Arina kept reading her notes for the test the next day she needed to surpass Elijah’s grade so she could stay top 1 because Arina knows

she will forever get taunted by Elijah if Elijah surpasses her grades as the next day came she went into the classroom feeling gloomy as Elijah smirked at her and said ” Ready to see me become top 1 princess?”

Elijah said as he gave a cocky smirk to Arina ”as if ” Arina said as she rolls her eyes feeling nervous on the inside as she got the test she nervously stared at it as she feels Elijah’s eyes watching her as she starts to answer after she’s done she puts her head down nervously

waiting for the test results to come as Elijah walks up to Arina ”I can't wait for you to see me in top 1” Elijah grinned at Arina when the test results came Elijah suddenly appeared behind Arina ” So what did you get him? I got a 96” Elijah smirked” I got a 98” Arina said

as she watched Elijah get furious ”I'll get a higher grade next time just wait and see!” Elijah said before storming out Arina couldn't help but giggle a bit as she felt great seeing Elijah furious as she was walking to the hallway she bit her lip as she saw Elijah and his
