A/n- the poetic rizzler has snorted pixie sticks and decided to right a chapter while cracked out on skittles , I don't know when next chapter will come out since my first semester of freshman year  is coming to an end and I have exams and stuff but I'll try to write as much as possible , enjoy !

"You think there's like (whatever you want to do when you grow up or whatever dreams) programs or something like that when we go home soon?..."
You asked greaves  as you let the nurses and stuff change out your bandages. You looked up at him with a small hopeful smile and graves gave a small smile.
"Yes y/n , of course. We can do whatever ya want for the first few weeks but then we're gonna half to start looking for schools to put you in so you can get a proper education."
Graves informed you as you lifted your arms as the nurses finished wrapping up your side with new bandages and gauze.

You gave a small nod , feeling the soft touch from the nurses and the relaxing sensation of the warm blanket you held. Graves had stood with you in the night sleeping up right in the chairs next to your bed. He stood up making sure you slept properly and to help you get up for when you had to use the bathroom and do your business. He had grabbed you a extra in the night when everything was restocked and you were cold so he had originally let you use his jacket and draped it on you to try and keep you warm.

It was a small gesture that meant alot to you but it was also graves who did what every father does and should do. Care. He cares a lot about you now and is doing his best , he's been checking in on you and has been doing his best to keep you as happy and hopeful as he can.
The nurse finished up fully now and started to clean up a bit and then They left you alone for the day. Graves reach his arm out and ruffled your hair a little bit as he stood next to you.
He had a small content look on his face as he looked over you. You looked better then before , your eye bags weren't as prominent , you were moving more and more now even if it's been only two days and the pain has lessened a bit as you had been taking the pills and medication that the doctors prescribed you.

"What's your favorite color ?"
Graves asked and you perked your head up at him.
"(F/c) "
You replied and he nodded.
"You'll have your own room , you can pain the walls (f/c) and style your room how ever you want."
Graves said and you gave a small smile.
"Cant wait till we go to Arizona."
Your tone happy and excited.
Graves nodded and went to speak until a female soldier enetered in the room , her boots tapping on the fooor as she neared causing graves to stand up and put his stern facade on.

"Commander sir , price and the others need you in the conference room to go over the events of what happened on mission."
She informed quickly and graves nodded.
"I'll be there shortly soldier."
graves says firmly as he looked at you and let off a small sigh.
"I gotta leave kiddo , gotta go to a briefing and go over some stuff about the mission."
Graves tone was soft and gently as he talked to you , a complete different tone from what he used with his soldiers that he works with:

You gave a small nod and understood as you knew he would come after the meeting and such.
Graves ruffled your hair before getting up and turning on heel to leave but before he left out the door he spoke.
"I'll be back kid."
He muttered and left ,leaving you alone in your thoughts again in the quiet room of the med bay facility.

Graves walked through the facility and out into the main part of base as he started to head to the conference room. He walked throughout passing other personnel and other staff as he walked through the dimly lit hallways. His boots making a soft yet heard tapping noise as he took every step as he neared the breifing room. He finally made his way to the breifing room and walked in, soldiers stood on guard while others sat at a table in the middle of the room. Soap and the others from 141 and los vaqueros stood there as price and laswell stood online.

"Good afternoon graves , take seat."
Price started and graves nodded as he pulled out a seat and he sat down , his eyes slowly scanning the room. Ghost sat and glared daggers at graves as he saw him , this wasn't no usual glare from ghost , it meant something and it was something graves couldn't pin point so he didn't worry to much about it at that moment as he had other things to worry about.
"We found grim , he's been working with someone we know and have ties with."
Laswell started as she pulled up a file with no picture.
"Last seen was with Hassan. He's part of it but grim plays a bigger part in this game. He's playing cat and mouse."
Prices tone was firm as he spoke , graves and the others listening in on what he had to say.

"Graves will be the one going home soom , so we will have to stay with Mexican speical forces , we'll track what's going on and we'll see if we can find him but only known source of information is that he has a warehouse up in Bostons in a more so rural area."

Graves nodded as he heard this message.
"About grim , we know nothing of him but we can send a separate team out and tell them to split up , solo mission. Spy's if you call them that. You can send them around Boston and try and catch intel if anything."
Graves suggested and laswell shook her head:
"We'll get caught , we keep it low and ghost and the others will get sent in , for now you will wait for you and your daughter to get ready for your discharge and to send you home."
Laswell explained and graves eyes widened and price waved him off.

"We knew from the get so don't worry."
Ghosts voice broke the silence after a moment.

"We have our plan and you have yours."

"When will me and y/n get to leave?"

"When she's discharged from med bay."

"About a week?"

"Affirmative."

The grim lurks about the darkness but your thoughts and plans have come from harshness as now your getting better days for one's true purpose has laid today.
