THE LIST
Charles's POV
This week every morning I wake up by beach clamour. The waves going closer to the sand. Children have fun and play at the sea. But not today.
From the morning is rainy and windy. I wake up around 11 am and Clara is still sleeping. A few minutes later she wakes up and makes me company.
«I'm so bored. Let's do something» Clara lay down on the bed next to me
«Want to go to a spa?» I offer her and stand up
«No. I have a better idea» she stood up too and looked at me
«I'm listening to you» I look interested at her
«Why are we not doing LIST with things that we need to do before we have kids?» she offers me and her eyes start to shine
She gets her notebook where she writes her daily journal or something like that and starts to write something.
«First we need to get married then have kids» I say and laugh
«Of course. What do you think about carving out a weekly date night without phones for like 1 or 2 months?» she laughs and writes it
«2 months. What do you think about the week in each other's country and understanding of their family history?» I ask nervous and look at the
«This is genius. Let me think for more and search» she gets her phone and looks at it
Huh. Ce sera tellement bien si nous le faisons dès que possible. Cela m'aidera beaucoup à comprendre la lettre et à chercher plus de détails et d'informations | This is going to be so good if we do it as soon as possible. It will help me a lot in understanding the letter and search for more details and information|
«What do you think about making a vacation bucket list before every of my races and going to the closest towns and understanding about the culture» I offer and try to not be suspicious
«You want to know new and know things. I like it»
«What if we start a new activity like yoga or something similar?» she gets her cup of tea and drinks from it
«Sure. But it'll be more fun if we going to karting one time together?» I joke and continue searching for new ideas
«Make a list of things you love about each other before the wedding and read it at the wedding ceremony?» Clara reads and a huge smile appears on her face
This is the sun on this rainy day. To see your beautiful girlfriend smiling and feel loving.
«Charles for what are you thinking right now?» her cute laugh goes from her mouth
«I just think about you. Your beautiful smile» I try to hide how embarrassed I'm feeling right now
«I love you too» Clara kissed my cheek
«Write love notes to each other every day or week» the idea just came out of my mouth
«Yes and try a new thing every month to make our routine more fun» she added
Meanwhile, we are talking someone knocks on the door. I go and get it
«Come in» I open the door to Arthur and Monica
«What are you doing on this shitty day?» Arthur asks and goes onto a balcony
«Make a list with things we want to do before we are going to be parents» Clara says and goes to Monica
«We made it something similar with Charles when we were little, but we lost it in our old house» Arthur hugs me and sits on the balcony's couch
«Do you want to go to the sauna with Pierre and Leticia» Monica shouted and looked at us
«Let's go» everyone says and starts to get ready
