This was supposed to be a short little cute story that was maybe 3,000 words long, but I made the mistake of letting Kaeya run loose and this is what happened. Enjoy!

Childe's entire day was ruined when a recruit approached him carrying a letter. He had happily collected debts from the local Liyue area, but these new orders had put a halt to all of that. He had done everything in his power to get out of it, but he was met with a wall every time. The orders were addiment; with La Signora's absence from Mondstadt, Childe was to be sent to check in on the operations. It was a quick mission, it wouldn't take more than the day, but he still dreaded leaving.
On any other day he would be thrilled for an excuse to go to Mondstadt to see a certain someone, but that person just so happened to be in Liyue at that moment. After being met with another dead end, he resigned himself to his fate and ordered his company to prepare themselves while he ran a couple errands. The errands to be informing his boyfriends he was going to miss their lunch date and would be back late.
Zhongli was always the easiest to find. He was either going over contracts in his office in the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor, or he was strolling through the markets. Hu Tao flashed him a large smile as he strolled through the doors of the Parlor but reminded him not to distract her dear consultant too much or she would keep him for overtime for the next few weeks. Childe waved the threat off but knew from experience that she would keep her word and even call him in for "emergencies" if he was disturbed at work too much.
Zhongli grumbled at Childe having to leave, but still encouraged him to do his duty. Coaxing him that if he left soon, he would be back by the time they were all off work and would be able to join them for a very enticing late-night offer. The former Archon chuckled as Childe bounded out of the room, much livelier than he had been a few minutes ago when he entered.
Finding Baizhu was the second easiest. Normally he was in Bubu Pharmacy, but if a patient needed him, he could be almost anywhere in the world. Thankfully his search was made easy when he saw the sway of long green hair in the back room. He invited himself in and latched onto Baizhu as he cataloged ingredients.
Baizhu didn't even flinch at the contact, long since used to one of them sneaking up behind him to wrap their arms around him. He was confused as to why Childe was here, but once he heard the reason, he stuffed some precautionary medicine in his hands and ushered him away before they both became distracted.
Diluc was by far the hardest to find in Liyue as his daily life varied. Sometimes he was looking into expanding his contracts for his Winery, looking into locations for a second tavern, hanging around one of them, or doing more secret activities. Childe had just decided to check their home to see if he was there or left a note when a brilliant red that stood out from Liyue's golden hues caught his attention. He vaguely remembered Zhongli mentioning some ingredients they would need for a soup he wanted to make and apparently Diluc had gone out to get them.
"Hey Red." Childe purred as he slid in next to him.
"What are you doing here?" Diluc questioned, but wrapped his arm around his waist to pull him along as he continued the shopping.
"I got new orders, and you won't believe where they sent me."
"What Inazuma again?" Diluc asked with a frown. He hated it when so much water separated them.
"Nope. Mondstadt." Childe giggles, moving his hand to thumb between his eyebrows to remove the crease forming.
"You're kidding." He scoffed, wiggling his head away to look Childe in the eyes.
