It doesn't hurt me Do you wanna feel how it feels? Do you wanna know, know that it doesn't hurt me? Do you wanna hear about the deal that I'm makin'?

He removed his left glove with one fell swoop. Bringing the index finger to one of his canine teeth. He immediately took off the next glove with the newly freed hand. His emerald green slits never faltering or even sparing whatever passed him by a passing glance. He only had eyes for you.

And sometimes Leona Kingscholar considered true intimacy when skin was in contact with each other. He was normally quite annoyed by the concept of even his tail brushing up against the grass beneath him. But when your eyes filled with tears to the brim, he had no choice but to reach out and caress your cheek.

Your skin compared to his calloused fingertips, were so soft. Even if you convinces yourself that you didn't deserve the privilege of being perceived as delicate, Leona reminded you everyday.

"So gentle." he muttered under his breath as another tear rolled down your cheek.

He loved being this close to you. He could see every single detail which often goes unseen by the average student at Night Raven. But he wasn't average. He was your prince, your keen eyed, lazy but attentive when the moment gives him the chance lover. Give him some love, all the love in the world. Leona deserves that much at least.

You.
Its you and me.
Its you and me wont be unhappy.

You continued to cry. You loved him a little bit too much. Sometimes it hurt. When your heart lept ten times it's average speed, pulse rising and the temperature no longer keeping your body at bay. You could catch glimpses of him practicing on the field. You had a perfect view. You slept in his room almost every night, and when you wake the spot next to you was empty. You'd remove yourself from the bed and your bare feet kiss the floor causing you to wince.

The coldness of his floor was a rude awakening. But once you stride towards the large window within his bedroom which was placed conveniently beside one of the sofas, you collapsed on top of it.

Watching as his brown skin glistened in the morning light. His P.E shirt discarded to some unknown oblivion while he and the Spelldrive members played the game to the best of their ability. Leona obviously overshadowing the rest.

Your lip curled into a smirk as you noticed him purposely flex his muscles when he with no effort at all perfectly leaped onto his broom. You felt like a teenaged girl squealing into her pillow about her middle school crush. Kicking your legs in a fashion that only Ace and Deuce would clown you over.

Moments like that remind you why you cry, oh so desperately over this man. The way he carries himself. The world owes him so much, and while you probably have a limited amount of time left in Twisted Wonderland, he was yours.

And if I only could
I'd make a deal with God
And I'd get him to swap our places
Be runnin' up that road
Be runnin' up that hill
Be runnin' up that buildin'
Say, if I only could, oh

You hated promising him that you'll stay forever. Because while you kissed him under the hanging willow tree in the school courtyard, you could feel him dread pulling away. In his body language and the way he grasps your shoulders. Not too rough but not exactly the gentlest touch either.

Leona understood that you'll leave him soon. You have a life, wherever you came from. And perhaps another lover, but what's so wrong with a little indulgence? You both deserved it. The two of you never owed the world a thing.

Every time you kissed, it was never brief. Because Leona Kingscholar always kissed you like he'd never see you again. And he had every right to. He never slept like he should anymore. He stayed up late night, watching you sleep. His nose slightly squirming and ears twitching every few seconds as he mentally denied his uneasiness.

If he could, he'd stop you from going.

He'd be selfish and deprive you of your true home. But since you found a new home in him, staying here in Twisted Wonderland wont be too bad now would it? Your family doesn't miss you. They don't love you like Leona does. At least that's what he tells himself.

You don't wanna hurt me
But see how deep the bullet lies
Unaware, I'm tearin' you asunder
Oh, there is thunder in our hearts
Is there so much hate for the ones we love?
Oh, tell me, we both matter, don't we?

But what about you? What do you want, Herbivore? Make the deal? The sacrifice to stay with the man you grew to love far too much. It caused a lump within your throat and then followed by a choked sob each time you thought about leaving Leona on his own. Perhaps silently cursing you and himself.

What's the damage? 'I don't remember half of what I left behind.'

You'd tell yourself.

But what if I brought him with me? If I were to steal him away from a world that abhors him and I? He'd be safe in my arms far away from those who reduce him only as the second prince. I'll protect him for all time. You concluded.

Leona refused. He didn't want to follow you back home. He wanted the two of you to make a world of your own. Both worlds were unkind to you. Why should you put yourself through it again? He could tell your home put you through trauma and emotions you'd never speak of. Which is why desired to spend eternity with you, far from the troubles that scorn the both of you.

Oh, come on, baby
Oh, come on, darlin'
Let me steal this moment from you now
Oh, come on, angel
Come on, come on, darlin'
Let's exchange the experience

Who were you to deny your prince?

Follow him to the ends of the world you decided. He deserved that. You deserved that. The two of you, hearts entwined and lips caressing one another, hands upon whatever piece of skin you wanted because both of you belonged to each other. He was yours and you were his.

That's why you cried.

Say, if I only could
I'd be runnin' up that hill
With no problems

If only he could swap places with you, look through your eyes and see why you loved him so. He was beautiful, and each time he spared you even the subtlest of smiles it tore your heart to pieces.
