CW: Excessive swearing

Trophy and Knife were out on a walk in a forest together, trying to get to some campsite that OJ wanted the hotel patrons to go to. They were both doing something, so everyone else left without them already. They don't want to acknowledge one another. Soon enough, they come to a small slope that went into a river. Trophy almost walkedright into it, but Knife grabbed his handles and yanked him backward.

"OW! WHAT THE HELL, DUDE??"
"Shut up and look in front of you for once."

Knife gestured to the river, and Trophy's expression softened slightly, turning to one of annoyance rather than pure anger.

"You were about to flop right into that damn water."
"You couldn't've told me instead!?"
"As if you would listen."
"...Touché."

Trophy slowly stood up, brushing himself off and staring downward.

"I don't want to get wet. Knife, you go."
"Why?? I'll rust!"
"Me too!!"
"Wait, isn't gold known for not rusting?"
"I- SHUT UP!"

He pushed Knife into the river. He had to rush to clench onto the sides of the slope, glaring at Trophy.

"You know that we could've, you know.. looked for somewhere more shallow instead of ENDANGERING ME."
"Whatever. Come on, asshole."
"You're sooo funny."

They head off around the river, looking for maybe a bridge or a shallow part. The closest thing they found was a rope teathered to a tall, sturdy branch. Knife sighed.

"I guess we gotta Tarzan our way out."
"Ladies first?"
"Fuck you."

Knife begrudgingly grabbed onto the rope, tugging it to see if it would break or not, and going over the river, landing on the dirt. He held the rope, staring at Trophy.

"My turn now, throw it over."
"You know, Trophy, I could easily cut it."
"..But how would you get back over to the hotel? You can't leave me here."
"Damn."

He let go of the rope, allowing Trophy to pass over and letting them continue on. This might not have been a bonding experience, but at least now they agree on something.

OJ's field trips fucking suck.
