The people that resided on the unbelievably big house, which by the way she found out after stepping out of her only safe haven. Her room,

Y/n was bombarded with so, much......Affection. She doesn't seem to mind, really! But it somehow felt weird receiving it from the people she just met. Apparently.

Upon waking up on a different place, she tried asking where she lives to have knowledge on how far she was taken and the possibility of escape. However she was met with a very disappointing answer.

"You live in golden valley!"

"Golden Valley of course."

"Golden valley."

Golden Valley.

'THAT DOESN'T EVEN EXIST!'

The answers made her want to rip her hair. She asked for more informations but they'd look at her confused and will say the name of where she resided. Which by the way the more people say it makes her hate the word a little. Everything in this place feels animated.

Chewing her breakfast silently as she straightened her posture which is something she applaud herself for doing so, sitting on the dinner table, the people around her was talking amongst each other as they eat. The people in question being her Mother Terese and her father who's name still unknown.

"Y/n."

"Y/n!" Snapping out of her train of thoughts as she looked up at the caller, Her father looked at her concern sprawled across his face. "Want to share what's on your mind?" He spoke in a soft tone, blinking owlishly at him as she shook her head to the side.

"Very well."

"As i was saying, putting you in that school might benefit you in the future." Her attention was held upon the mention of such a hellish yet oddly fun place;

'School?'

'Benefit?'

"Uhm dad, can you please repeat that?" Gosh the words that came out of her mouth felt so wrong in so many ways. I mean to be fair she didn't grow up having a father figure, so her new environment was foreign for her.

"Darling." He said as he placed a hand on his chest, "You said dad!" He exclaimed happily as his eyes sparkled so bright, that even she can see it shine from the other side of the table,

"Sorry-"

"No! Don't be, it's just."

"You haven't called me that ever since earlier."

Terese sniffled as she watched the scene unfold, caressing her husbands hands as she looked at Y/n with such loving eyes, "I'm so happy your finally back my daughter." The girl in question smiled at them, not knowing what to say with her statement so she stayed quiet.

'Wow they really love their daughter huh?'

"Anyways, to answer your question."

"You are going to La Sales University."

Her eyes widened at his statement, "Say what now?" Y/n was sure she had heard of such school before, still she can't put a finger on it.

However a bad feeling is pooling on her gut, telling her that whatever it is, the school she was going, is nowhere good.

"Can we even afford that?" Y/n asked, assuming that the school in question is a prestigious one, basing from the name itself, Unless the body she's currently in is a protege then maybe she won't have a problem.

Both her parents stopped conversing amongst themselves as they looked at her, the mother giggling as the father was seen beaming with such pride, "Oh honey, you don't have to worry."

"Giving a little money, won't hurt anyone right?"

'Oh joy.'

His lip twitching to the side as he tried stopping himself from grinning ear to ear, 'An entertainment huh?' He pondered shamelessly still observing the scene before him. Seeing as how the girl was in clear distress, he made no move to help whatsoever.

Glancing at the letter in his hand, he sighed.
