Savannah

I hated that Mason was acting normal. It honestly scared me because that meant at some point he's going to lash out and it'll be much worse than anything he's ever done. On a better note, it also meant that he was leaving me alone and that made me happy; or well somewhat since I was always on edge. And the fact that tour was happening soon made me smile a bit more.

Last week we had sorted through my songs and made my little set list so it could be approved upon and this week we are going through some minor scheduling things.

I had a charity softball game coming up soon but it was being held in Milwaukee and then a few odd appearances and things after that. It was just the small things Breanna and I had to go through to make sure I wasn't meant to be somewhere at the same time as another thing.

"Savannah, we've got another problem." Breanna looked up from the table in Taylor's hotel room. I threw my head back, groaning. I should really go through the scheduling first then pick clothes out but instead I decided to do them both at the same time.

"What is it now?" I asked, shuffling over to the two papers in front of her. She pointed to a line in the middle.

"You have your mom's birthday party on this day but a radio stations wants to do an interview with you that morning." This one was actually the easiest to figure out. I took the pen from her hand, crossing out my mom's party.

"I don't care about her party, I'd rather do the interview and meet fans." She gazed at me, obviously knowing about my relationship with my parents. It may sound very rude of me to just say fuck her party but my parents never cared. Growing up it was always working before me and now I'm turning the turning the tables on them. I didn't need to be around them when they weren't around when I needed them.

"Okay, so what do you think of this dress?" Taylor pointed to the cute dress he'd laid out on the bed. I smiled at it, nodding my head. It was really cute and I think it would look good on me.

"Yeah we can add that to the pile too." I grabbed the soft fabric, setting it inside a suitcase that held the rest of the clothes I had said yes to.

"Where's Mason been lately?" Breanna asked, noticing his absence.

"Well he's been staying in the hotel room a lot. I think he may be getting sick or something?" I took the seat beside her, lying smoothly. She shrugged, not really caring about it.

She slid the finished paper with dates and times and places of interviews for the tour, over to me. I glanced at it, feeling the excitement bubble up again in my stomach.

"Okay, so this is the final list. Look through it to make sure you like the dates and that everything is correct with you."

With a nod, everything was set. For the next few weeks my life was going to be hectic and fun and a big whirlwind shoved into one small tour bus.

"Do it again, Savannah." I hunched over, exhausted. I've been running through the whole set list, late the next mid afternoon with my vocal coach.

Today has been horrible. Mason went back to being shoved up my ass, making me wonder if I hadn't jinxed myself yesterday. He sat in the corner, watching me carefully from a fold out chair.

I've been here since the start of the day, going through everything that Angie has thought of. I was becoming incredibly irritable and annoyed with everyone around me. It might be wrong of me to act whiny but these people didn't know the half of what I was dealing with.
