Front City Mormon Camp

The Arrival-Harley (Ch.1)

Front City Mormon Camp is the most magical place on earth (or the second most, Disney is pretty high up there) I've only been once but it was the best week of my life, so this will be an interesting week.

When I got to camp I checked in and they told me I was in the Goat cabin, luckily I knew my Best Friend Jasmine Courtney would be in that cabin also considering we are both 14 years of age. I walked into the cabin barely one foot through the door and I got tackled by a hug it had only been two weeks since I'd seen Jasmine but it felt like forever. "I can't believe we're finally here!" "I know! I'm so excited!" We both said jumping up and down and squealing. I set my stuff down on the bunk I chose right next to Jasmine's and we walked down to the pavilion for dinner. "I'm so excited for this week! And hey there's boys at this camp and some of them are actually hot!" Jasmine said excitedly. We had both gone to a different camp our entire lives and had known most of the guys there for a while so the thought of there being new boys was exciting...and you know learning about Jesus but mostly hot guys. I don't know why she's excited though because she was obsessed with our friend Louis who would also be here this week.

When we got down to the pavilion and took a moment to look around. The camp was eclectic, to say the least. Almost all of the buildings were made out of old wood and they all looked very rickety. The camp itself is really old so it makes sense for the buildings to be also. We walked up to the pavilion where my sister Gemma and her best friend Leigh were sitting. "Hey guys!" Leigh said. "Hey! what's up?" "Nothing really just saying hi to everyone arriving" She said as Skylar, Leigh's brother, walked up. We all went to church together but we hadn't seen Leigh Skylar and their brother Brett in a couple of months because they lived at the camp during the summer. Me and Skylar had never been super close but we were friends. "Hey Skylar!" I said cheerfully "Hi" he said unenthusiastically. "Why was he so annoying!?!" I thought as I punched him in the face. "WHY DID YOU DO THAT?!?" He yelled "I don't know you were pissing me off" I shrugged. Everyone looked stunned for a second then laughed at the Boy Baby's pain. Me and Jasmine walked off with everyone following behind us to the old porch. I sat down on the swing and Jasmine took the spot next to me as we watched Skylar run off with a bloody nose trying to find the nurse while crying. "So," I said cheerfully as Hailey Hogan walked up and joined all of us on the porch "What cabins are you guys in?" "Goat" said Gemma, Leigh, and Hailey all at the exact same time. "Horse" said Louis. "Horse" said Isaac Grace who magically popped up out of nowhere as he did regularly. "Nice, Me and Jasmine are in Goat 'cause we are the g.o.a.t." Everyone rolled their eyes at my terrible joke. The bell rang for dinner so we all walked back up to the pavilion.
