Ellie's POV:

Ellie! That was my name! Now I remember. But how did they know what my name was? "What do you mean 'Test 1'?" I asked, now standing up. "You are brave little one. This is going well. Proceed to Test 2." Said the voice. I helped the boy up. "Hey! You didn't answer me!" I yell. Suddenly, The floor beneath us crumpled and we started falling into a deep pit of darkness. The boy started screaming while I on the other hand, was calm. I tried focusing on bringing those wings back. I couldn't while the boy was screaming. "Hey! Shut up! I'm trying to save up here!" I tell him. He stopped screaming. I focused really hard. Suddenly, It didn't feel like I was falling anymore. I opened my eyes to see light coming from my wings. I tried to keep them out. The boy was still falling. I went down to save the boy but it was difficult. I could not control my wings. I got scared and my wings disappeared. Suddenly, I fell quickly down to the boy. "Grab my hand!" I said to the boy reaching my hand out. He grabbed my hand and I focused on taking my wings out again. They did. I saw light so I flew down to it, but still with great difficultly. We crashed down to the ground. It looked like we were in the same room again. "Hey! What's the deal?" I yell to the voices. "Good. Proceed to Test 3" Said one of the voices. Three tables appeared in the middle of the room. The one in the middle had an old knife. The one on the right had an old broken bow and arrow. The one on the left had a rusty gun and a bullet. "Choose one." said the boy. It was the first time he had actually spoken calmly. "What? Why?" I asked. "CHOOSE ONE!" He yelled. I picked up the broken bow and arrow. Suddenly, it changed into a beautiful silver with amazing carvings engraved into it. The arrow did the same, but now there were multiple arrows. I turned back to the boy. He was tied up to a chair. "Woah! How did this happen?" I say. "I did it. Now shoot me." He said surprising calm. "What? Why?" I said confused. "JUST DO IT!!!' he screamed. His face turned into some type of human. It was terrifying. I took the bow and arrow and shot it instantly. I started to cry a bit but the voices interrupted me. "Good. Now mark your symbol." Said the voice. "What?" I asked. No one responded. I took my finger to the boys hand and wrote a cursive capital E on it. It showed up and started to shine. "Congratulations. You have completed the Sinaps Test. You may now proceed to the door." Said the voice. A door appeared on the other side of the room. I walked over to it. Before I left, I looked back at the boy. I walked through the door. I walked into a room. In the room on one wall was a glass, on the other was a mirror. I looked into the mirror and saw my reflection. I had light green eyes. My hair was a light brown. I had a very light blue dress on, and no shoes. I looked...like a human, but my wings were still visible. I looked to the glass to see people in white coats working on some machine moving there fingers very quickly. Others were taking "notes" on paper and kept looking back up at me. In the center was a woman who looked different from the others. She was wearing black dress and her hair was up. Also in the center was a man dressed in black. "Hello Ellie, Darling." Said the woman. She was one of the strange voices. I guessed the man was the other strange voice. "Who are you? How do you know me? Where am I? How did I get here? Who am I? WHAT am I?" I said all at once. "Calm yourself." she said. They all looked like humans. They didn't have wings. "Now Ellie, This is your...'room'. You will do your training here." Said the man. "Training for what?" I say. "You will find out sooner or later." said the woman as they both walked away.
