In the quiet of the night, neither of them can predict what the coming day holds. KS wrestles with how to express her emotions, while HM strives to shield herself from the impact of witnessing KS with someone else. The weight of unspoken words and unexpressed feelings hangs in the air, casting a shadow over their thoughts as they drift into slumber.

The NEXT Day:

On this Saturday, HM is enjoying a well-deserved holiday, peacefully resting. Meanwhile, KS is diligently attending to her duties at the station, having taken leave after lunch. There are two important reasons behind this decision. Firstly, KS is accompanying PS to the doctor for her routine check-up, ensuring her well-being. Secondly, KS plans to visit the temple later in the day with HM.

Fortunately for KS, the workload today is lighter than usual. Cases arriving at the station are being handled by MP, with Santu providing assistance, and MIRA lending a hand. This allows KS to focus on a high-profile case she's been assigned. She diligently reviews the reports of all the cases that were resolved during the week.

As the day progresses, it eventually turns into afternoon. PS and KS join their fellow MPT members for lunch. Afterward, they set off to visit the doctor, attending to PS's health needs.

In Pushpa Niwas:

KS and PS returned home after their visit to the doctor. The reports were satisfactory, but the doctor advised them to take extra care of PS's cholesterol levels. As they entered the house, KS took off her shoes and began to share her thoughts with PJi.

"Toh, umar hogai hai aapni uske nusar thoda sehat ka bhi khayal rakha kariye! Hmm?" KS advised, emphasizing the importance of taking care of one's health as they grow older.

"Haa! Samjha gaye! Hume toh ye samjh nahi aa raha ki tum meri beti ho ya hum tumhari ... Kab se sunaye ja rahi ho," PS responded, placing her bag on the table and sinking into the sofa, seeking a moment of relaxation.

As PS leaned back on the sofa, she mused, "Aur ha itni bhi kuch umar nahi hui humari, abhi humne dekhahi kya zindagi mein?"

KS could only nod in disbelief, familiar with her mother's penchant for theatricality. She handed a glass of water to Pushpa ji, acknowledging her mother's wisdom while also recognizing her tendency to be a bit dramatic.

"Aur ye mundi mat hilao, hume sab pata hai... Kya chal raha hai tumare dimag mein! Jao abhi Mandir jana tha tumhe? Der ho jayegi!" PS teased, reminding KS of her original plan to visit the temple.

With a smile, KS retreated to her room. She had already messaged HM about the time, planning to pick her up from HM's home. There was a palpable nervousness in KS's demeanor, for she had something important to share with HM. Lost in her thoughts, she opened her wardrobe, searching for just the right outfit for their temple visit.

Usually, KS was never one to be uncertain about her choice of clothing. She always knew what she wanted to wear and didn't concern herself with others' opinions. She believed in dressing for her own satisfaction, not to make an impression on anyone else. However, today was different. Even the typically decisive KS found herself in a moment of indecision when it came to selecting her outfit.

Given the temple visit, she leaned towards a traditional Indian ensemble. After much contemplation on what would not only please her own eye but also her beloved Haseena Ji, KS settled on a navy blue kurti with a collar, paired with black jeans. Her hair was loosely fastened at the back with a clip, allowing a few curls to cascade gracefully over her face.
