in which, you and your ex get in a fight at a party.slight mentions of blood and fighting
it was a friday night and you and the triplets decided to attend some random house party thrown by a senior. it was open to everyone, so it was a mix of all years, meaning that you'd atleast know a few people there.
as soon as you walked into the weirdly huge house alongside the triplets, you were met with the pungent stench of alcohol and the mingling aroma of teenagers' sweat, completely overwhelming your senses.
the party was in full swing, with the booming beats of the music echoing through the air. the room was ablaze with vibrant lights, pulsating in sync with the rhythm. excited voices filled the space as everyone enthusiastically attempted to belt out the lyrics being played on the speakers.
"im gonna go get a drink, d'you want one?" you asked chris, leaning in closer so he could hear you clearly.
as soon as you had entered the house, the two older triplets had ran off to meet up with their recognised friends, leaving you and chris alone.
"uh yeah, i'll just have a pepsi," he replied, planting a swift kiss on your cheek before rejoining his conversation with nathan.
you maneuvered through the bustling kitchen, weaving between clusters of people engaged in conversations while they drank. undeterred by the crowd, you pushed through, making a beeline for the fridge.
"well, if it isn't navy harrison," a deep voice chimed from the back of the room, accompanied by a few amused chuckles.
no need to be surprised when you finally turned around, only to be greeted by the cold glare of your ex, tobi, and his 'loyal' posse.
you released a predictable sigh, shaking your head, "and if it isnt- wait? remind me, what's it again?"
after your snarky comment, a chorus of "oo's" and "oh's" erupted from tobi's mates, but he quickly silenced them, his fists tightening with anger.
"actually, never mind. got somewhere to be," you snapped, but just as you took a step forward, your path was abruptly blocked by an outstretched arm, preventing you from moving any further.
"just a pepsi?" he snickered, his hand harshly grabbing the can from your grip. "the girl i know wouldn't usually be so delicate," he taunted, pausing for a moment as a sudden realization hit him. "or is that for your little boyfriend?"
"and what's it got to do with you?" you raised an eyebrow, crossing your arms defiantly. "now, if you wouldn't mind, i have a relationship to return to - notice how it's singular?" you added, emphasizing your point with a sly smirk.
he chuckled, his laughter dripping with arrogance. "that's because you can only handle one at a time," he sneered, tracing a finger down your arm. "but hey, let's talk it out, and maybe i can make it two."
"yeah, i don't think so." you said, taking a step back.
"oh cmon', just 5 minutes," he pleaded, his voice filled with desperation. you reluctantly took another step back, but before you knew it, you found yourself trapped against the kitchen island, now unable to escape his grasp.
"i said no," you firmly stated, your voice filled with frustration. but he didn't listen, his grip around your hip tightening. "tobi, let me go, for fuck's sake," you exclaimed, desperate to free yourself from his hold.
"then just fucking talk this out with me for five minutes," his voice turned cold and demanding. with a surge of strength, you managed to push him off slightly, quickly retreating towards the entrance of the kitchen.
