Poems are not like stories

They were never meant to be vast,

daunting,

glittering like the ocean;

a trying voyage to embark on.

They are sparkling gemstones for you to savour

To ruminate on

And pin to your chest

Or wear around your neck

So they can thud gently against your heart

Right when you forget about them

You've reached the end of published parts.
