Tw: mention of kys

Quackity's POV:

I was looking around the small village for a job. But sadly no one was hiring, how was I going to pay rent?

"Look kid, I'm sorry I don't have a job for you. But I heard the King is hiring" the man gave me a sick smile. "I think he'll love you" he continued.

I knew what he meant by that. Most people who work there end up dead. Either killing themselves or the king does it for them.

The king, Wilbur. Seemed so kind and gorgeous, but that's all a trap. He's the most heartless and most cruel person to ever exist. He once killed a baker because they ran out of his favorite bread..

"I'm not a kid. I'm 19." I said. "And? Still younger then me. I'm 31" the old man said. "Whatever. Have a good day." I said walking away.

At this point, I'll actually have to get a job at the castle. That's something no one wants.

I gulped while walking towards the castle. I had no other choice..

A guard came up to me. "What are you doing here?" He asked. "I need a job.." I admitted sadly. "Between you and I, go somewhere else." He said. "I can't, no where else is hiring me because of my age.." I felt he had taking pity on me.

"Fine.. but please don't blame me for anything." He said. He walked me in the castle and we went to the throne room. "Who's this." The king asked.

I never saw the king before, he did look as gorgeous as everyone described him as..

"He is applying for the servant job." The guard said. Good thing it wasn't a cleaning job, I sucked at cleaning.

"Really? Aren't you a bit too young?" He said examining me. "He's 19, sir." The guard said. "I'm not talking to you." Wilbur said. The guard immediately quieted down.

"Are you 19?" He asked me. I nodded. "Words." He demanded. "Yes, I am 19.." I said. "You seem so young tho, but as you say" he said.

"You. Get out." He said to the guard. The guard nodded and left without saying a word.

Wilbur got off of his throne and started walking in circles around me. "Yes, you're perfect.." he said while grinning. "I've been waiting for you, for years." He said with a sick and twisted look on his face.

"What does that mean?" I asked. "Speak when I ask you something." He said. I nodded. "Good, you listen quickly.." he stopped walking in front of me. "Do you need a room?.. Or do you have a house?" He asked. "I have a house" I said. He gave me a confused and angry look. "Since you have a house, you'll work 5am to 8pm." He said. I could tell I pissed him off..

"That's over 12h! I can't work that long!" I complained. "Shut up. You'll be with me for those 15h. You'll be fine" he said. "why am I with yo-" he cut me off. "Shut up. And you'll be my personal servant" he grinned. "It didn't say that in the description.." I said. "I changed my mind when I saw you." He said. "Do I get breaks?" I asked.

"Yes. At least one per day. But, I choose when and for how long. Your lunch is when I eat lunch" he said. "Oh okay!" I said.

He grinned and stared into my soul. "You'll have a uniform." He said. "You'll receive it tomorrow morning. Get out now before I change my mind." He said.

I nodded and when I left the room he reminded me to be here at 5 am.

I'm only doing this for my son. Well, technically he isn't my kid. I found him alone, and he's 14.
