There was a soft beep coming from Wang Yibo's watch, signaling that it was eight in the morning. The young man leaned against the counter. He kept his eyes fixed on the apartment building across from the shop where he worked.

Exactly five minutes later, a young man was seen coming out of the apartment. He was wearing a long coat, a scarf, and carrying a tote bag.  With long strides, the man crossed the street and headed towards the shop where Yibo was.

"Good morning, Zhan Ge," Yibo greeted with a big smile.

The man's name was Xiao Zhan, a loyal customer of UNIQ Store, who would always come every eight in the morning to buy snacks and soft drinks. He was also the person Yibo had been secretly crushing on.

"Good morning to you too, Yibo," Xiao Zhan replied. But before he could say anything else, Yibo had already added. "The peach-flavored drink is here, Ge. And the spicy chips you asked for will arrive tonight. So you can buy them tomorrow. "

Xiao Zhan looked at Yibo with an amused laugh. "I didn't say anything, but you already know what I want to ask."

"I always remember the things I like, Ge," Yibo replied with a nosy smile.

A blush appeared on Xiao Zhan's face. He raised his scarf to cover part of his face. It made him look like an adorable bunny.

Yibo couldn't stop thinking about how someone could look both charming and cute at the same time. He knew that Xiao Zhan was much older than him. Yibo even found out that he was six years younger than Xiao Zhan when his friends asked him his real age because they didn't believe him when he said they were the same age.

From then on, whenever Xiao Zhan came over, Yibo would always engage him in small talk about things like hobbies and favorite foods, or how their jobs were going.

Yibo learns that Xiao Zhan is a freelance designer working at an advertising office in the middle of the city, while Yibo tells him how he and his two best friends, Wenhan and Yixuan, raised money to open a small shop they named UNIQ Store. He also talks about how he likes to race and how he idolizes Valentino Rossi.

Yibo also learns how Xiao Zhan loves all kinds of peach-flavored drinks and has a very high tolerance for spicy flavors, while Yibo cannot eat spicy food, but loves vinegar.

The doorbell tinkled again as a few girls walked into the shop chuckling. One of them gave Yibo a quick glance and then looked down shyly. Yibo could see one of her friends nudging the girl's arm with a meaningful look.

"Do... Do you have any energy drinks for sale here?" The girl asked in a shy tone. Her face turned red.

"Mn, it's on that shelf over there," Yibo replied briefly while pointing to the drinks section.
