8:07 AM - Bus Stop
The day started gloomy, nobody in sight just a few shadowy figures from afar. A bright light accompanies them making a more visible appearance through the fog moving slowly. As the lights come to a halt the faint image of people forming a line is seen.
"Shoot" she mutters picking up her pace recognizing what the light was. Her blonde locks blocking her view as she attempted to subtly run. Rushing to find a seat she feels her face get hotter and hotter each second from embarrassment. As her eyes dart everywhere there seems to be someone trying to usher her down that catches her eye. Taking a close look she almost sighs in relief to see her friend, Kirsten.
"Girl what took you so long? I texted you." Kirsten frowns almost complaining but somehow she complained in the nicest way possible?
"Sorry, Sorry, I was rushing out this morning I had only an hour!" the blonde defends herself as Kirsten rolls her eyes.
"I can't believe you, stop staying up so late!" Kirsten grumbles as she takes a look outside the window. The grey sky and dark clouds was no view or invitation to come outside. So what was the point of going out today?
"I just hope today is brighter than this.." She huffs out noticing the way Kirsten looks outside just nodding in a way to agree with the blonde girl beside her.
8:28 AM - School (Bus Drop Off)
Carefully getting out of the bus the blonde walks towards her friends. They're all huddled up in the same area by a pole. From a straight face to smile they greet her.
"Hey Vanessa" they all collectively say. Vanessa smiles waving as the group goes back to their conversation. Taking glances around she notices a boy standing out of his group similar to her. Awkwardly she looks away. It's not long before she's stealing another glance at the boy. The mysterious figure seemed to be suited up for a whole day of rain. He had a grey puffer jacket with some skinny jeans and to top it all some glasses that were tilted more to his right side.
"Hm." Vanessa mutters trying to play detective. He was far away so it wasn't easy to see anything else either other than the fact he had his hood on. Moments later Vanessa feels herself being dragged away by a different friend.
"Hurry! Vanessa?" she calls out.
"What? Bro why would you do that?!" she complains slowly walking further away from the boy. Still curious she glances back at him. Or.. where he was. Furrowing her eyebrows she walks through the glass doors and into school.
