"TAMA NA PLEASE YOUR HURTING SUNOO!" - my brother screamed at my mom.
"GUSTO MO DIN MASAKTAN? HALIKA DITO!" my mom screamed at her back and kuya jay went upstairs. i did not know what to do but cry.
my eyes are swollen. i dont get why am i born.
i hate my life. i hugged my knees and buried my face in it.
and i saw kuya jay holding 2 huge luggage and grabbed me. "WE ARE LEAVING THIS HOUSE." sabi ni kuya jay with a tear escaped to his eyes.
"SIGE ALIS KAYO KUNG ALIS. YOU GUYS WILL REGRET IT." sabi ng papa namin and we didn't care we should've left years ago. im 18 and kuya jay was 24.
we walked in the side of the road and there was comfortable silence between us. i broke the silence
"kuya saan tayo titira ??" i said with lots of questions in my mind. "you didn't know this but i have a job and i have enough money para maka bili tayo ng condo." sabi nya.
"b-bakit mo hindi sinabi sakin dati kuya? we should've left there months or years ago."
i said and saw him feeling guilty.
"im sorry sunny. ngayon lang ako ng lakas loob to leave in that shitty house. we're now free."
nakita ko sya naka ngiti . that made me smile too. "I'll find a job soon kuya ill help you" sabi ko ng naka ngiti ako.
"no sunoo finish school first of course." sabi nya naka ngiti sakin.
"edi maging working student ako!! duhh" sabi ko with my eyes rolled.
"no sunny finish school first then you can help me."
"eh-"
"tulungan moko pagkatapos ng school mo o hindi ka maka tulong sakin?"
my eyebrows furrowed . "sige nanga."

"ang ganda naman." sabi ko naka ngiti at i faced kuya jay "kuya can i check my bedroom po?" sabi ko when he was about to cook ramen.
"alright." he said plainly.
