You grew up at WICKED, as the daughter of Janson. Unfortunately, you never got to know your mother since she left 2 years after your birth, leaving you and Janson alone. But still, you were happy.
Because you grew up at WICKED, you know everything about it, about the maze, the people, the test, about everything. Your father even explained many things to you. But you are never allowed to go on missions, nor into the maze, which is a big wish, so you can meet kids your age.in the 15 years you are alive, you never had friends your age and you were jealous of the kids in the glade because they had each other. However, one day, you sit in your room, fidgeting with a pen as your father comes in. He looks serious and has a hint of importance on his face.
"Yn, I want to talk to you about the missions." He starts, seeming to have troubles speaking about it. Immediately, your face lights up.
"What about them?" Your voice is excited, and your eyes show happiness and hope.
"I made a decision... you are old enough now, and I know it's your wish... I have a mission for you, in the glade... but it's not a good thing." He seems stern but also a bit worried.
"Ok? What is the mission?" You can't help but be interested.
"You would have to kill someone... he isn't good for the experiment. He knows too much." Janson starts and opens the computers.
"K-kill him?" The words you wanted to say are stuck in your throat, but you nod. "Who is he?" You ask as your words come back.
"Test object A5, also known as Newt or the glue." His expression doesn't change.
No matter how hard you try, you can't recall how he looks. All you know is that he is the second in command. There is nothing more you know.
"I trust you, Yn. Kill him, and you will get a reward." Janson voice gets colder as if he is angry, but his face seems calm.
"Yes, dad. I won't disappoint you." For a moment, you think. "How do I have to kill him?" The question seems unreal, but you asked it, so it's real.
"That, my child, is up to you. Just dont let anyone see you."
You nod. "I understand. When will I be sent to the maze?" Importance fills your tone.
"Tomorrow morning." His short answer freezes uou for a moment, but you quickly regain your composure.
