Lover letters. That all I keep receiving...
I'm one of the most popular students here. All the girls want to date me. Some want to actually date me, and others just want to get into my pants. Unfortunately for the girls, I don't even want to date them. I might seem like the guy who dates tons of girls, but I don't. I've been asked out so many times, but I've never agreed to go on a date.
That's why I'm guessing these love letters are coming from one of the many girls in this school. But who, I have no idea. Sometimes the letters are on nice pink paper, but then other times they are written on crumpled up notebook paper. This also makes me think that someone found someones letters and is giving them to me as a bulling technique.
I quickly crumple up the sheet of notebook paper and toss it into the trash bin. After running and playing basketball for an hour I'm not in the mood to deal with these gooey and mushy feelings that someone feels. I wipe my mouth using the rim of my grey tee.
"Another love confession?" I looked over to see my best friend, Liam. He chuckled as he grabbed the ball of paper out of the bin and unfolded it. "Dear Oliver, I hope this doesn't make you feel awkward in anyway shape or form-"
I threw my shirt at him. "Shut up Giovanni." I grunted as I opened my locker to grab my clean every day clothes. As I changed I could see Liam still holding onto my shirt and was smirking at me.
"Y'know, you should quit playing the people like this," I turned to look at him and furrowed my brows. "You should quit saying no to the girls who are head over heels in love with you, then turn around and be built like a model."
"Sorry that I actually work out," I turn to look at him. "At least I don't look like an anorexic."
"Yeah, yeah, let's get going, your practice is done and I think mom is almost done with dinner." I could just hear his eye roll in his voice.
I walked up to him and ruffled his hair. I don't know how, but his hair is so curly and fluffy. I also love how soft it was, I should probably ask him what he does to make it so soft. I continue to walk out the changing room and Liam soon followed.
Once we made it outside the school, we walked to Liam's house. I tend to spend almost everyday at his house. It's a shorter walk, plus I find staying here better than staying at my house. Along with those two reasons, Liam's mom comes home to take care of her child, plus me, then she leaves to go back to work. She works so hard at the hospital. Then you have Liam's dad who is just never home in general. We actually have no idea what he's doing. Sometimes we think he's at work, but every time we go to visit him, he's never there. Though it's possible he just goes to the store every now and again to get some milk and we just visit him at the wrong times.
Non the less, it's normally just Liam and I at the house so it's easier to be teens. Plus he'd be all alone if I didn't spend almost everyday of my teen life with him.
"I wonder is mom just left." I snap out of my thoughts and look up to see the normal red buggy that sat in their drive was gone. I nodded as I walked up to the door and unlocked it.
As we walked into the house, our noses were met with the sweet aroma of food. I couldn't pin-point what the meal was, but I knew it was going to be good.
"Want to eat first or get started on homework, then eat?" I turned around to see Liam holding his phone and looking up at me.
"I want food." Was all I said before I left him in the living room to go eat some delicious food.
I walked over to the stove and lifted the lid off to peek at what was inside. Tortellini soup. One of the best soups of all time. I chuckle as I grab the spoon to stir the soup. It looks so good that I seriously can't wait.
"Here are some bowls," Liam handed me two white ceramic bowls and two spoons. "Fill them up and bring them into the living room, I'll have a movie starting." I nodded as I filled the two bowls.
Yummy food!
After we both got done eating we decided to go upstairs to his room.
"Oliver, we're supposed to be doing our homework," Liam grumbled while throwing a pillow at me.
"Hey, I'm tired and the food is starting to set in my stomach. Leave me alone," I yawn.
"Ollie, please, I'm not smart enough to do this, why can't you get up to help me at least?" I really didn't want to work on homework, but since he needs help and he is normally the teachers pet, I might as well help him out.
"Okay, okay, but once we're done with it, we're both going to sleep. I need my beauty sleep."
